It was ok

Great hotel

Got in started checking for roaches, everything seemed rlly clean until the last thing, the microwave... Lifted it up to look under. There's a roach. Okay so they were living inside the electronics of the microwave. If u looked at the digital clock part you can see larvae and small adults crawling around the control panel. They rlly come out at night. Didn't see any crawling in the bed but definitely have a home base in the kitchen. I kept watch for a while at night and they were like maybe 5-10 easily visible crawling around the kitchen at night. So living in cabinets for sure. Had electric stove, enough dishes for one person pots and pans. That was nice but did not use it because there was roaches in the room. If there was no roaches I would have loved it and would do extended stay

It's cheap for a one night Saturday while travelling.

the room was clean and the plumbing works good

If you like the smell of cigarettes and Marijuana this is the place for you! Room wreaked of smoke. Turned on the AC the first night and discovered a horrible stinch of cigarette smoke spewing out of the vents, while the people next door smoked weed in their room and their two kids screamed all night.

Great location away from Bakersfield, lots of food choices for late night or early morning, only downside that I didn't discover until I was in bed ready to fall asleep, a train path directly across the street, seemed to pass regularly every 20 minutes

The hotel denied having a paid-for reservation and despite my providing documentation, required me to pay for another room to stay there.

All was fine. We got rest.

No towels in the room, so I had to ask for towels. The heater was noisy. It did have a stove top, microwave and sink. It was a good value for the price.

Great room. Has an induction stove. Microwave and fridge. Coffee maker if you have a extend stay great place

Arrived there to be told they wanted a $60 Cash deposit for incidentals? Then was told there is No Reservation. I called Hotels.com and wasted a lot of time going through all the prompts to finally be able to speak with an Agent. He was excellent and then put me through to a Resolution rep who was Also excellent. The gal at the hotel was a bit over the top about their “Cash deposit”. Told her I have never in all my years staying at a Motel 6 or Studio Motel 6 have ever had to leave a deposit. She said it was “in the fine print”She finally let it go, when the resolution team got involved. I think she just plain forgot! The room was very clean but lacked in hanging space for your clothes. No rail Or hooks anywhere just 1 chair. We had a backside room and it was very quiet. The beds are rock hard though so had to keep rolling over from one side to the other. The shower is dreadful - very poor water pressure. We would not stay there again unless we Absolutely had too. And only if we were Given a backside room otherwise you’d hear the trains all night long

To start, the place does not have laundry facilities on-site. They also do not provide do not disturb signs so their is no privacy. The worst thing though was they have the showers on a separate water line. So while your faucet will get hot, the shower never will. You will be lucky to get the shower to over 80 degrees. But even if you do it goes from hot to cold every other minute. The room overall was really nice. The bed was comfortable and it was clean. You could still hear the train at night but nothing like the other motels on the street. You can actually sleep. Don't bother making a reservation online because they will never be able to find it and yes, you will get your cash deposit back.

The woman staff member that works in the mornings is very rude.

They ask for a $60. Cash deposit on check in. They’ll make you go across the street to an atm machine located in a convenience store. They couldn’t find my reservation. If any hotels require cask only deposits it should be stated on the properties advertised deals. So I spent more money and went someplace else

I got robbed by expedia and never got my room. Im trying for days to get my money back.
