Lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly staff , particularly Georgina in the Spa

What a lovely place to stay, an amazing find. Dinner in the bar, fish and steak dishes were excellent, tasty, fresh enjoyed with a fine wine and relaxed with cheese and biscuits afterwards. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. A lovely gentlemen serving breakfast cared to explain the local area. Breakfast food also wonderful. Spa facilities used in the morning and then on our way, beautiful property and very relaxing. Only booked for one night but will definetly return. Truly delightful from staff, food, room , every aspect of our stay. Thank you

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at will be back hundred percent

Everything was as we hoped. We were given a room that made it very easy to take our Labrador in and out. The service was excellent throughout. We will be happy to return.

Food was really nice and staff were very good and attentive. Hotel is lovely but could do with a little tlc in places

The room was lovely rather like a suite. All the staff were well manned and polite. It was a lovely overnight stay - definitely returning.

Very nice hotel and rooms wher nice and big

Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character.

Clean room, nice spa

The property is in extensive grounds which are great for walking and bird-watching (we saw a Red Kite flying around the woods) The service was very attentive without being too much. The dining choices were excellent. The only slight issue was the cooked breakfast on Sunday was cold (not an issue on Friday or Saturday morning.) Overall, we'd be very happy to recommend this place to you and we'll be back soon.

This hotel & Spa is absolutely amazing, the staff were so attentive to our needs, I had booked this hotel for a treat for my family which they so enjoyed, the grounds are beautiful and the food is cooked from the best quality, yes, the spa is not huge when you compare this to other spa facilities but this gives this hotel spa the advantage of giving you space to enjoy the spa experience, would I travel to this hotel again, most definitely, worth every penny.
