Great location

Spacious room but a bit strange. Lovely deep tub and separate shower. Both with glass walls looking into the bedroom and if the curtains were open, outside. NO privacy at all! Well equipped and comfy bed. The front desk staff, especially Ethan, were great! Helpful recommendations and very friendly. Easy parking, great location. The continental breakfast was pretty weak.

Great location for restaurants, pubs and sightseeing

Large room, clean. Old renovated property. Nice place but rated OK as they had no on site bar so no late night sna ks or drinks to bring to the room. Otherwise was fine.

Room was huge and had everything you'd need. Location was prefect. Close to shopping and downtown sights. Easy included parking was a huge plus. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

The property is very nice lots of character great location. Only complaint is the bed was very hard

Our king room was beautiful and had a very nice stay. However, the breakfast that was included with our room rate was extremely disappointing. We had stayed there a couple of years ago and had paid extra for breakfast then and it was much, much better -way more selection and more of a real breakfast. This year all that was there was Costco muffins, granola bars, fruit, and yogurt, coffee,tea. No microwave to heat anything up, no jam, peanut butter, etc.. Very basic. The breakfast we had there a couple of years ago was also called continental breakfast, but had boiled eggs, etc. -more of a real breakfast. We didn’t make a reservation elsewhere for breakfast when booking our hotel reservation because we were looking forward to the included breakfast since it was very good last time. I know things are being cut back everywhere but when you pay $386 for a hotel room for one night with breakfast included, you expected to be a little more than what it was.

The big tub was very loud. They have super flush toilets that are loud at night. Our large room should have a large comfortable chair. Nice big shower with towel warmer and heated floor.

Lovely room. Walking distance to the harbour and many many restaurants and attractions

I loved my room. It was so charming and had such a warm, safe feeling. The character of the hotel is absolutely lovely.

We stayed for 4 nights on the second floor. All nights were quiet except for one. You can hear people walking and talking in the room above. One night, they stayed up till 12 and then up again at 0530 . Not a good nights sleep. I would stay on the third floor to avoid this. The room shown on the internet for eating is not in use. The actual breakfast room is small and is not a 5 star breakfast. Croissants from Costco. No dairy milk. No eggs. Quite different from all the other places we stayed in NFLD which had hot breakfasts with eggs, bacon, and toast. Still, it was adequate and was a good place to discuss travels with other guests. Note that the fireplace is just for show. There is no heat as it is only a light show. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large as was the room itself. The building is a 200 year old converted warehouse made of large solid wood beams. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good restaurants across the street.

The staff were brilliant.

A very nice hotel with great character, lovely rooms, and all the expected amenities (with needed new restaurant coming this month June 2026). Staff are absolutely excellent which makes the difference compared to the big hotel chains.

Room was great, bed was comfortable, staff were nice- especially the nigh shift who were always very friendly and helpful- which was great when your flight arrives after 1am. I would absolutely stay there again.
