Chambre sous les toits propre, spacieuse, bien décorée et correctement équipée, mais les parties communes gagneraient à être rafraîchies pour être en accord avec le standing annoncé. Le petit-déjeuner est décevant, mal présenté et peu varié, et ne correspond pas aux attentes d’un hôtel de cette catégorie, d’autant que la salle dédiée est très exiguë, obligeant certains clients à prendre leur repas debout faute de places suffisantes.

Beautiful historic building with convenient parking right in downtown. We loved the room, spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff friendly and front desk lady gave helpful directions to get to hotel as nearby streets were closed to traffic.

Huge rooms!

We had a wonderful stay at The Murray Premises Hotel in St. John's. The building is beautiful and full of character, and despite its age, everything was exceptionally clean. We didn't see a single bug during our stay, which was impressive for such a historic property. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location couldn't be better—right in the heart of downtown with easy access to great shops, restaurants, and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Great staff, clean and spacious rooms, well located to amenities in the town. No restaurant on site, but plenty in the vicinity. Breakfast provided is fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice and pastry. We would return.

Our room had another woman’s underwear on the floor when we arrived! Even worse, our room was cleaned twice, and no one noticed it. Absolutely disgusting! The sad part is this was our honeymoon:( To make matters worse, they did nothing to compensate us for the cost of our room. They said there was nothing they could do because we booked through Expedia. The front desk staff also lacked basic knowledge about the hotel’s room rates and the main tourist attractions in the area. This was worse than a 1-star hotel. DO NOT BOOK HERE! Book at Alo it is right beside the main downtown 1 min walk. Erica the night desk clerk who works at night is amazing. She knew her stuff and had excellent customer service.

Really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of onsite parking, and it was within walking distance to our supper reservations and George street. Room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the continental breakfast options were very limited. Apart from that, definitely recommend this property and would stay again ourselves.

Our room was great it had a king size bed and was very comfortable, The area by the tv was nicely appointed had 3 chairs( incl the desk chair) , and was very roomy. The bathroom was great - large lots of room, a large jacuzzi type tub (which we didnt use this time) and a huge walk in shower which was great and worked well. The water seemed softened, which was a nice touch and there were plenty of fresh towels and soaps, conditioners, etc. The towel heater was a nice touch and the floor heat in the bathroom meant no cold feet when getting in or out of the shower. We were in the older part of the building, so the ceilings are a bit lower but were very satisfied with the accomodations. One comment was the air recirculation system intake was right above the bed and sound traveled thru it a bit. we could hear other guests periodically, but it wasnt a great inconvenience. The coffee and light breakfast foods like yogurt, croissants, muffins, oranges and bananas were appreciated as well. Having 2 restaurants right across the street was also very nice. The room said it had a view of the harbour, I would say that was a bit generous as we could see a small sliver at the back, unless you pressed your face against the window and could see thru the restaurants across the street, but nevertheless we really enjoyed the room. Parking was good , although we have handicapped parking so we were right up near the door. Based on our experience we would stay there again. Thankyou.

We were very disappointed in the breakfast, very limited even for a continental breakfast. The pillows need to be replaced, they were either brick hard or lumpy, and none were good for people with short necks. Had to sleep on a towel. Parking was great for downtown.

The parking on site was easy. The rooms were unique and not just like any typical room. I loved the feel of the old building, but either way comfy beds and lots of space. Location is excellent as well.

Nice place!

This is a nice hotel in a great location. The room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, though, the carpet in the room smelled strongly of old gym shoes. Time to refresh the flooring!

Great location, close to Water and George St and right on the harbour. Lovely! Ample parking, good grab and go breakfast, clean rooms and pleasant staff.
