Had a wonderful, family-oriented stay!

Really appreciated the breakfast at Aalto’s. Great variety and delicious! Staff was great! Room and bed very comfortable!

Has splash park but its nothing spectacular Hotel definetely has not had any significant updates since they first opened...price per stay doesnt really reflect the qaulity of the hotel its kind of really overpriced for a basic room. There really wasnt anything at all that stood out to me that made me say wow this is worth $287.00/ night The convenience was being close to interstate I guess

It was just ok. Nice to stay because of the splashers. Staff are nice specially at the Altos during free breakfast.

We came just for the water park, and it did not say online that the waterslide and play structure was closed.

Hotel was clean, staff were all very friendly. Only stayed one night but everything went well and the kids had a great time at the waterpark.

Food service it’s limited

The staff were very professional and friendly. We had a problem first on the room we check in. Then we talk to them about it. They immediately change our room. We're gonna check in here again for the next visit. It was a nice experience for the first time visiting here.

I recently stayed here and felt the hotel itself was pretty run down, especially for the price of $299.34 per night. The bathroom mirror had a broken corner with paint on it, there was no hair dryer or laundry bag provided, and the freezer coil in the fridge was over-frozen. The water ran extremely hot in a way that seemed unsafe, and the complimentary toiletries were very small and not great quality. The carpet in the hallways is clearly worn, and the elevator flooring could really use some repairs. That said, there were a few bright spots. The water park was excellent, clean, fun, and well maintained. Breakfast was generous, and I appreciated the convenience of having restaurants in the building. Being connected to the Alerus Center was also a major plus. Overall, the amenities helped balance out the stay, but the hotel itself could use some serious updates or should consider changing the price.

Worst stay ever. We had room 202. We had a room by the elevator. Kids were screaming and running in the hallway until midnight. Then when they finally went to their rooms with their parents you could hear everything through the floors. Stomping, jumping. Couldn’t wait to check out and get home. The beds were creaky and worn. Woke up with horrible neck pain from the pillows. Not a good stay.

Needs a little update but I would stay again

We live in Canada. We brought our 3 children (11yo, 7yo & 2yo) down for an extended weekend in May. The water park inside the hotel is amazing! Always something to do for all 3 kids age ranges. Anytime we come to Grand Forks we will always stay here for the kids!

Didn’t expect it to be so large. Lots of dining selection. Clean. Waterpark was great. Room was large. Definitely will be back.

We enjoy our stay at Canad Inn everytime! Great service. They also accommodated for a crib for our infant on short notice.

The room/floor I stayed on was VERY noisy. Had people arguing in the hall way. The last night same thing and someone kept slamming their door against the stopper. Hardly any sleep. The server in the lounge area was not very cordial. Took about 20 mins to get our drinks then on 2nd drink order after waiting found out she hadnt even submitted the order. Will not be staying again.

No water park features available…no mention on your website that the water park was closed on Monday and Tuesday…we came with the grandkids just for that

We had a good time here. I wasn’t sure if my family would stay with me - so I got the king room. Turns out they all wanted to stay. So much fun! The hotel did not mind one bit that there was extra people. Awesome pet friendly spot. Likely the best pet property I’ve stayed at. Actually, everyone, my dog, and I ran into liked him. One thing is, get your pool passes at the front desk rather than the door. I believe I was discharged, but the expense wasn’t bad. I just didn’t know that it wasn’t included. They have a waterpark and part of it comes with the room and the other part is extra. I’m not sure how they monitor that but… overall, a very good experience. It is true that the hotel is dated, but it is comfortable, clean and fun for a family get together.
