Clean room staff polite and helpfull

The room was perfect, the town was Quiet and safe, we walked everywhere for the most part. The pool was not as warm as I would prefer but the hot tub was nice.

Hot tub was not working properly, but everything else was excellent!

The property states pet-friendly however, there are many conditions that aren't made clear at the time of booking. First, it's not made clear that the whole hotel is not pet-friendly. In fact, the pet-friendly aspect is only for specific rooms. At the time of booking the stay, it doesn't specify which rooms these are. To our surprise, the "pet-friendly" rooms were only the suites which was a CAD $60 surcharge to the already "deluxe" room we'd booked. In addition, this was only made to our attention two hours before arriving at the hotel. This was particularly annoying because the whole reason for choosing the hotel was the lake-view from the balcony and upon the room switch, our room had no balcony and faced the parking lot. Great. Second, if I'm paying an additional fee of CAD $50 for a pet-friendly room, I expect that the fee is put towards the additional work put into cleaning the room. Understandable if that's the case. However, my partner and I found that the room was filthy with dog and human hair all over the bed. The room was otherwise in fair condition and the location was good, hence the two stars instead of one. Regardless, I will not be staying here again.

Best place we’ve stayed in Harrison

Property was ok. Cleaned and well located. Wifi and cable sucks. Swimming pool very small.

Helpful staff. Renovated 2 years ago. Apart from a $20 charge for underground parking and sometimes noisy floors, we had a pleasant stay.

Our first time staying at Harrison Beach Hotel and we will definitely be back. Very clean, staff is amazing, well stocked kitchenette, pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all.

Brand new, will definitely be staying here again this summer when we return to Harrison for a weekend get away.
