Very nice hotel. All the staff are polite and friendly. The swimming pool and the room could have been a little bigger but still very good. Definitely recommend for couples retreat

We made a return visit to Wotton House and were delighted with our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the grounds were particularly enjoyable this time around. Can thoroughly recommend making a reservation on the tennis court, and the spa provide rackets and balls for free. The spa is small, but the staff take great care and attention to ensure that it is clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially joyful souls like Annalisa in reception.

Lovely hotel with everything you need for a night away. We checked in and made use of the pool and jacuzzi straight away which is included in the price, although the leisure club is a little dated it was still nice. The room was clean and tidy with everything we needed and more than comfortable. Lovely restaurant and bar on site with a lovely outside to sit into the night. There’s also beautiful grounds to explore if you wish! Brilliant staff from check in, dining and check out. Would whole heartedly recommend.

We stayed for a wedding, and our room was disappointing. It was boiling hot, on a day where the weather was average for the time of year. This is a hotel indeed of a facelift and aircon.

We had a wonderful time for our second stay here. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere, exceptionally clean and calm. The only downside was the room was far too hot and we did not visit at a time of heatwave. There was a fan provided, but unfortunately it did not make much difference. I wouldn’t stay here again at the height of summer.

Great stay. Clean, spacious, nice staff. Extras like umbrellas, wellies, sun lotion were available.

The grounds are very lovely but overall the place is a bit shabby and tired and not particularly clean and tidy. The leisure complex is a nice feature but was again looking very tired. The room itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful comfortable stay

Large wedding on which took over hotel as we were checking in.. didn’t see them after that. Some areas done nicely but shabby carpets , very tired disappointing pool area and our hotel bathroom had new fittings but smashed tile and scratches all over wardrobe door. Disappointing standard

We really enjoyed the hotel, grounds and restaurant. Unfortunately we were in a very small room which was very hot and the property were unable to offer an alternative as the hotel was full. It was so hot in the room that it was unpleasant to be in there for too long. A fan was in the room and the small window was open but this did little to offset the heat.

Decent rooms, good bar and restaurant, great walkable property and surrounding area offering hiking options.

The most beautiful grounds and gardens. Wonderful nature, so much to explore. Maciek at reception was super. The barman was helpful, as was Jose at the breakfast. Only small thing on the hottest day in years- the coolers woild normally be okay but perhaps it is time to add proper AC.

It was nearly all of what I wanted it to be. Its a grand old house with a charm of its own set in pleasant grounds. Cleanliness of room was faultless. The temperature control for the shower over the bath was not working quite as it should. Needs attention although just about serviceable. Also faulty light over the sink. However room very comfortable. Great buffet breakfast. Had one evening meal at the hotel also which was much enjoyed. Not sure that what we ate represents good value for money but the price was roughly what I expected and no complaints about the food. The hotel is a very easy car journey from either Epsom or Dorking for shopping What was a shame was the lack of staff to clear away empty bottles of drink and used plates from the very attractive terrace in a timely fashion. These attracted bees/wasps which are a nuisance to subsequent users

As is often the case with 3-star hotels, I expected the public areas to be freshly renovated and the rooms to feel dated. However, to my pleasant surprise, our family room (253) was simple but nicely refurbished. A few minor downsides: the room was very hot on arrival, though a free-standing A/C had been set up. After mentioning this to reception, they promptly brought a Dyson Cool fan, which worked very well. The bathroom sink was slow to drain, which was a bit inconvenient. The wife in the room was very slow, only one device can connect at a time. The swimming pool and spa facilities aren’t particularly modern, but everything was clean and well maintained, which made for an enjoyable experience. The gardens—both natural and formal—were lovely to stroll through and clearly well cared for. We had dinner at the bar; the menu was limited and on the pricey side for what you get, though I feel this is very common in many places. A thoughtful touch was the eco-bag with used coffee grounds provided for guests to use as garden fertiliser—such a lovely, sustainable idea. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we’d happily return in the future. Many thanks to the team!

We stayed for one evening. Everything was great -food, quality of our room,, our greeting at reception. The service in the restaurant was slow. At the end of our meal we decided not to have another drink or dessert as we waited a long time for our table to be cleared after our main meal. Otherwise very enjoyable!

Beautiful hotel in a great location and with good facilities. Room was great, clean and comfortable although slight dust and worn in places, no fridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Lovely stay
