Dining room was closed. Long time to check in, Internet service very poor, ice machine did not work. Only coffee in room... No tea, HC. Noisy hallway. Right across from beach!

Was placed in a beautiful upgraded room for my boyfriend’s birthday- we loved it and will be back. Thanks so much!

The guy at the check in desk was very personable. He showed us around and gave us a room upgrade as the hotel was not very busy being a winter month.

We have stayed at the Ashworth before but probably will not again. When we arrived, they no longer offer valet service in the off season. There was no hair dryer in the room. Could not call the front desk as there is no longer a phone in the room. Multiple trips made to the front desk. There were no information pamphlets in the room their free wi-fi password or surrounding restaurants, etc. We were in a large group for a celebration, which the hotel knew ahead of time. Normally there would be a DJ for entertainment but this time there was no entertainment. We had also purchased the breakfast for 2 ahead of time and when we went to breakfast, we were told that we needed tickets. Back to the front desk we had to go. This should have been given to us at check-in. The Ashworth is not what it used to be.

Great location, comfortable and clean!

We go every year in the winter because it is affordable. It is a large space and accross the street from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants. Balcony views of the ocean. Only drawback is our room wasn’t cleaned. We had lots of garbage. Staff is friendly and works hard.

We had such a nice getaway. Staff was incredibly friendly. Already booked another stay !

I love the people there. They are helpful friendly and always available. The view of the ocean was peaceful. I may be going back soon.

Very cold in pool area. There was cold air coming through the door or window that couldn’t close all the way. Very uncomfortable and too cold for me, so I did not swim, but my grandson touched it out.

Visiting a hotel off season often shines a light on the features of a location that might otherwise be missed. In this case it was the people who were determined to see to it you enjoyed your stay. The restaurant staff was great, the rooms were well attended to, and the ocean views were spectacular! I want to extend a huge shout out to JERRY. Before we even arrived at the hotel Jerry helped us reserve the rooms that lookout at the beach. He greeted us warmly and knew our names when we arrived. He took our pictures in front of the Christmas tree and was always at the ready! The people who work at Ashworth By the Sea made the difference between a good time and a great time.

The hotel was great the pool was super warm. The staff was great from the sweet and snart girl at check in to the super nice maid. We will definitely be back soon!
