The apartment is a good size and great location if you want to be in town. It was a 10 minute walk to 4 mile beach which is lovely. Jo was very helpful with suggestions and let us check out late.

A lovely aparthotel run by a lovely couple who recommended local restaurants and was able to book excursions for me. I would absolutely return to the Macrossan if staying in Port Douglas again.

Very central to everything

Great position on the main street, so close to shops and eateries. Well maintained and comfortable rooms. Lovely owners who were very helpful. Would happily stay again.

The roomy apartment was in the heart of town. Easy walk to the marina and park and beautiful Cliff trail. Good AC and comfy bed. Below garage parking.

Was in a great position nice room we were there for 7 nights would have been good to get fresh towels during stay

Owners were charming and very helpful. They arranged airport transfers for us and provided recommendations for excursions.

So close to everything being on the main street, but still so quiet.

We have stayed here a few times and it is a great location with access to everything you need with it's central location

Very central and underground parking

Excellent location, can walk to beach, wharf, markets, shops and restaurants. Fantastic management onsite, great advice and connections for tourist activities. Lovely apartment with beautiful garden and was very quiet and peaceful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This was perfect for our 5 day stay. The hosts were wonderful and gave us great advice on which tours to go on. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets and great shopping all within walking distance….would definitely recommend Macrossan House.

Fantastic location right in the heart of town. Very clean rooms and building, and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

Centrally located.

Property was centrally located in Main Street of town despite the location property was quiet owners were very helpful with places to eat and tours and friendly east going couple along with Tilly the receptionist

Perfect for couples who don’t need a lot of fancy amenities. Great location, quiet, clean. Grocery store nearly next door, so we ate in for breakfast and lunch and had many restaurants in walking distance.

Property was central. Managers helpful and accommodating. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

The rooms were lovely and clean, you can't beat the location, being in the centre of Port Douglas. It was quiet, and secure. Excellent communication, friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

The property owners were extremely nice and helpful and the location was great. The amenities were basic and there were no elevators and it was hard to drag our luggage to the second floor.
