Hotel called to confirm our reservation, but didn't tell us they were overbooked and were switching half of our reservations to another hotel.

Despite paying for a standard room, we were upgraded to a suite, which was awesome!

I'm unable to completely answer the survey, because due to no fault of the staff at the hotel there was a major power outage in the area from Ice storm. However I'm just going to give a shout out to the staff, under this very devastating and difficult condition and they were clearly stressed to their maximum, they maintained a positive attitude and use the system to make sure that customers were treated fairly. When we were cold at night, they walked up five flights of stairs to bring us extra blankets. Well it was hard to see completely, we were able to see that the hotel was very clean and we were very happy to have a safe place to stay during this epic ice storm in Northern michigan.

Good location clean and good breakfast.

I paid for a room, arrived to check in and their generator was out and they were canceling all reservations. Told me I had to contact Expedia for a refund for my room. I’ve tried, and can’t seem to figure out how to get a refund. Messaged them and nothing.

First I'll point out the good. The front desk staff was friendly and the shuttle driver was awesome. Unfortunately the pool should have been closed. It was totally out of balance and dirty. The water was so cloudy you could barely see bottom and smell in the room burned your eyes and nose. I wouldn't let my kids swim in it which was a huge disappointment. The breakfast was really bad even for a free hotel breakfast. The phone in our room didn't work and when I let the front desk know, they said they already knew. She said there's a few rooms that have phones that don't work. That seems like something you should let your guests know.

The desk, staff and housekeeping were all very pleasant. It is an attractive and comfortable hotel. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. Pretty view of the valley. Great location for everything in the area.

Liked the free upgrade. Pool area was nice. Breakfast nice, but not real juice.

Free limo service. Cleanliness. Amiable, helpful staff.

We loved one night here cause the bed makes you feel like on cloud nine and the pillows were sooo soft. The room was very spacious and very clean. We even rode in the limo 😜

Fast, convenient, and affordable!

Liked kuerig coffee maker in room. Beds so comfy. Staff freindly. Pool/spa awesome and quiet...no splashing kids. Breakfast so right and good... location perfect for us....restraunts close....casino...shopping and even went grocery shopping at meijers on way home! Thanks so much....sorry we didn't spent another night.

Clean. Easy in/out.

The property was VERY clean and the staff was wonderful. They were completely booked and our room was very quiet. Breakfast was great and the staff was very attentive. I would stay there again. They even have limo shuttle service to the downtown area and casino.
