Beautiful property. The spa was relaxing. Staff was so accommodating! And the afternoon tea was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend.

Unique and nice place. Would stay again. Great food. Friendly staff. Some things a little outdated although you could say that’s part of the vibe. Biggest complaint: room door has a light directly in front of it that does not turn off. And no blind to cover the window. Was extremely bright at night. Second night a staff member removed the bulbs which was appreciated

We went to spend my wife's 60 th birthday . I informed the hotel telephonically prior to my arrival .At check in I reminded them and the lady who was checking us in said that it was on their system.However , the hotel totally forgot that it was my wife's birthday on Sunday , 8 December . Not even a happy birthday wish from the hotel,That spoiled a otherwise pleasant stay.

We had an excellent stay. The staff and service in particular was outstanding. This is a gem of of place beautifully decorated in lovely grounds. We stayed in one of the Treetop villas - marvellous and would definitely comeback again.

An unexpected Gem. After many years of staying in different hotels around Jo'berg and Pretoria I had never stayed here. Thanks now changed and Fairlaws is now my hotel of choice. Really nice old school hotel with an amazing setting.

Beyond beautiful property & tremendous staff! Online pictures do not do this place justice… it’s stunningly gorgeous in person. My only regret is we only booked one night here.
