A large modern hotel on the East side of the village with a lovely harbor view, nice outdoor pool ( chilly in early April) and indoor pool and gym. The breakfast is great. Ask for a sea view room. There are several inexpensive decent restaurants just down the street from the Hotel the Vila Velha being the best (more expensive). Walk out on the undeveloped rocky point to big cliffs overlooking the sea and have a picnic.

Schlecht : kein Besteck im Zimmer ! Balkontür lässt sich nicht öffnen! Sehr schöne Umgebung mit Mehrblick ! Moderne Archtektur passend zur Landschaft Großzügige und gemütliche Lobby en Salons !

Beautiful modern hotel with excellent staff. The bar and restaurant were excellent as well. Would definitely stay again.

Standard rooms are quite small, so we upgraded to a suite which was much more comfortable.

We have stayed at Memmo on several occasions, Great location and staff are amazing. Little disappointed this time with room facilities, no complimentary cookies, no tea spoons, tea bags or milk. Our daughter, son in law and granddaughter had another room and they found the same. General lack of detail to attention and a step down from previous visits.

Ett fantastiskt hotell med fantastiskt läge. Allt var genomtänkt och frukost och middag var super. Dessutom var personalen oerhört trevlig framförallt de som jobbade i restaurangen på kvällen Nära till havet och vandring. Vi stormtrivdes verkligen

Become a tradition heading to Memmo Baleeira for the start of the year and there's no better way to kick of the new year. Always have an incredible stay and the staff are super attentive. Highly recommend.

Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable, tanto las instalaciones como el personal, excelentes. Lo único que fue una decepción fue la cocina del restaurante, cenamos en él la primera noche, y viendo la baja calidad no reservamos la cena de Nochebuena.

Es war alles super... freundliches Personal, super Anlage, geräumige Zimmer, wo man 10 Tage auch gut aushält. Innenpool ein wenig klein, aber ok. Außenpool auch super. Das Spa-Center hab ich nicht genutzt, aber sah auch gut aus. Umgebung ist auch toll... 10 Minuten zum Strand... Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants alles super zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Fabulous hotel. Great location and had a lovely room with sea view . Only negative was the breakfast as it was till 11am and we came down at 10.40 and they started putting away all the breakfast at 10.50 which was very disappointing as we had no notice given to us that they were taking everything away . So gave us no chance to have anything hot !

Room was lovely and very comfortable. Lovely view. Great breakfast and wonderful restaurant on site. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our short stay at Memmo Baleeira. We were impressed with the wide variety of services and amenities available on property (restaurant, spa etc.).

This hotel is high end and worth the money. Definitely make sure you get the breakfast included. Their restaurant is large and extremely well maintained with a huge buffet including tons of fresh items. I would honestly not even go into town for breakfast and eat there every day. Within walking distance of multiple beaches and the fort. Great local dining options for lunch and supper (we didn't try the onsite restaurant for meals other than breakfast). We had a sea view room which was worth the money as the view was excellent. Smaller than expected patio but could sit 2 people although a bit cramped. The room was very up to date (but no USB charging so make sure you have an adapter if visiting from outside of Europe) and extremely clean. Pool and spa areas were beautiful. Would absolutely recommend you spend a bit extra to stay here if your budget will allow for it (even if just for a few nights). Impressive hotel!!
