Apartment was lovely. It overlooked some woods and was very peaceful. Had everything we needed as a family of three. It was clean and we had a comfortable bed. Lots of hot water for showers/bath. Swimming pool was clean and very warm. Peacocks were a beautiful bonus. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely go again

Wonderful place, unfortunately we only stayed for 2 night, I wish we had more time! Pool was warm, jacuzzi and sauna excellent. The apartment was clean modern and well supplied. There is a lovely garden to walk around and games room for the kids with a bar

Ease of access and location good. Lack of food facilities a drawback, nowhere to have breakfast. Fridge in apartment perpetually noisy. Otherwise a good value stay.

Property is old and out dated

Myself and my partner stayed for two nights, the grounds beautiful and the apartment was very clean and tidy. We had only one encounter with staff here and this was during check in, they were friendly and informative and even opted us in for their text message service which keeps you up to date with activities going on during your stay. The downside was that some of the facilities that were offered on hotels.com were not actually available during our stay, which was quite misleading and a bit disappointing, which meant for adults there isn’t a lot to do. It is also situated well out of the way, with no restaurants, pubs, or even towns within walking distance, it is really quite out of the way. We would have perhaps booked elsewhere had we known that some facilities were unavailable during our stay, our booking was also nonrefundable so we weren’t able to cancel. Overall, I would absolutely stay again providing that all facilities are open for use, I feel we only had half of the experience we would have had otherwise - a great stay for families.

The property was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. The parking was good but the bays were narrow. It also wasn't mentioned that the pool towels had to be hired at £2 per person per day. Unfortunately the restaurant was still closed which is very disappointing as you don't always want to go back out driving on the evening

Quiet country club that is well looked after and really enjoyable to visit.

Such a relaxing stay!

The stay was generally ok, the room was clean and the staff were pleasant. We stayed for 2 nights and unfortunately were unable to bath throughout due to the hotwater basically running out after 5 mins.

The unit was very tired the trickle of water in the shower was not worth using, a pwer shower with no power

A beautiful, quiet property with outstanding rooms and apartments that was really friendly and enjoyable Staff were down to earth and friendly and the facilities like self laundry were appreciated Recommended

The accommodation was fantastic! Second time staying here and would definitely come again. The peacocks that seemed to come to our window every morning were good fun & the kids loved them. There’s only one slight negative which is the pool temperature which I believe isn’t suitable for children…Adults will be fine but the last two times we’ve stayed here the children have never been able to enjoy the pool due to it being too cold. Regardless of this I would still come again down to the accommodation & I don’t think you’re finding better for the price!

Really good value for money and lovely place for a weekend. The resort is very rural, and the onsite bar and restaurant are currently closed so we had to make sure to bring food for our stay, or travel further to buy food or eat out. The hotel made sure to make us aware of this before arrival which was very nice, so we were able to prepare better. Waking up to peacocks on our balcony was a surprise. The lodge was very clean and had everything you would need for a weekend stay or even longer if you wanted. The walls were quite thin to the next door lodge, who had kids and we’re running around and stomping and slamming doors until very late, no fault of the resort but bear in mind the noise may be an issue if you have noisey neighbours

Brilliant place for a three-night stay! We had a two-bedroom house for three adults and two toddlers, and it was great—comfortable, spacious, clean, and excellent value for money. We’ll definitely be back! The only thing that could have made it even better would be replacing the old carpet with the same flooring as in the kitchen.

Lovely accommodation, our own house, fully equipped, warm and very comfortable. Situated right in the countryside, with friendly peacocks mooching about. Our property overlooked a grass field and on our last morning we had a mother and young deer that came quite close to our unit. Pretty magic and the kids loved it
