The guest house is in a lovely location, quite rural, but with a good size town within 10min drive. The property is clean and welcoming. The host is easy to deal with and very helpful. The double room was bright ans spacious. The ensuite had a powerful shower.

Really nice breakfast with multiple choices.

We were attending a wedding for the weekend. The owner was away but his stand in Nick went out of his way to make us feel welcome and was very friendly. Breakfast was epic and we could decide on the time. A very cosy and comfortable bed, very quiet road even with a front facing room. It suited our needs very well

I was looking for a quiet place to stop for one night, to break up a long trip back to Wales and could not have found the most perfect place. The guest house is beautiful, the location was peaceful and quiet and the warm welcome from Justin was so nice after a very long day. My room was lovely, very clean, complimentary fresh milk and a bottled water in the small fridge, plus tea/coffee. Justin was a lovely host, made even more so by the fact that he is motorcycle mad, like myself, so the conversation when arriving and at breakfast was just perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend Manston Guest House, it's truly a little hidden gem.

Lovely place to stay with an excellent host. Very quiet and comfortable in the countryside just outside Sturminster Newton. Easy for Shaftesbury and all the surrounding locations of interest.

Hidden away only a couple of miles from the lovely market town of Sturminster Newton, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Justin is a lovely host and we were incredibly well looked after. Super full English breakfast and Good amenities in the room. Highly recommended.

Really good stay here as we travelled to Dorset for a wedding. Host was happy to let us in early to get changed and was very attentive. Breakfast in the morning was super and once again our host could not do enough to make sure we were happy. We would recommend very strongly

Lovely place to stay. Great parking. Great breakfast - should ask what we wanted/preferred though to avoid waste. Calm and quiet and a ten min walk to a local pub with decent food. Lovely stay.
