The staff were all very friendly even the restraunt staff. I loved how spacious the room was. And the shops and everything were very easy and convenient to to get to.

Spa was enjoyed by my wife and walked the town to see the lake and historical sites. Pub in town was inviting and friendly and the food was great. Good place to go if you want comfort and quiet.

Everything was wonderful

The room was fantastic, comfortable beds and great hot shower. No frig in the room but the hot water kettle and tea setup was nice.

Wonderful view if the Lough. Good food and friendly service. The bathroom could do with brighter lighting and although breakfast was lovely (recommend the avocado, beetroot, posched eggs) it was not clear that you had to get your toast from the buffet which is strange seeing as it says on the menu scramble eggs on toast.

Staff brilliant .no fault to be found

The room was adequate but dated as the furniture. Not enough toiletries for a 4 star hotel. The staff was polite but need more training with the basics for hotel service. Breakfast was poor with not enough choices for cold items. The Breakfast room needs a complete overhaul but unacceptable that were towels on the floor balancing the tables. I would give it a miss next time.

The room was spacious and clean, and there was no room to spread out two large suitcases. There was also a supermarket and a fast food restaurant nearby, which was convenient. I was very grateful for the bathtub and electric kettle. However, I wanted a refrigerator. Was it possible that the dishes on the menu were free for breakfast? I didn't look at the menu carefully because I saw first that coffee was charged.

La recepción; chicas jóvenes sin más... Con ganas de que pase rápido. El restaurante, comida buena y servicio amable y profesional. El problema empieza cuando una pareja con un bebé de muy pocos días se infló a cervezas y acabó la policía. Eso nos causó molestias de espectaculo, ruido y pena por ese bebé. La habitación espaciosa y la mala suerte que la pareja que había al lado hablaban alto hasta la 1 de la madrugada. Cuando bajas al comedor con un "Desayuno completo" te encuentras con bimbo integral y blanco, jamón york, unas lonchas de queso que se levantan las 4 puntas cuando de secan, bollería croissant, cañitas y macedonia. Y yogurth diet. Ni infusión, ni café.Bajo petición y pago. No se puede poner un agua caliente para un te?? No se toma café en Irlanda? Me parece ridículo ,que cobren por eso.

We had an enjoyable Family stay at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was very clean and bigger than we had expected it to be. Breakfast was very nice both mornings and staff were very accommodating. Very quiet hotel. Would definitely stay again and will highly recommend.

The Lough Rea Hotel and Spa is a nice hotel with spacious, clean and tastefully decorated rooms. The beds are comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was a little weak. We asked to have someone come and look at it but no one followed through. The staff was polite but there was rarely anyone at the front desk. Overall, my stay was satisfactory, and I would stay here again.

Never been to a hotel that does not have a mini fridge. This does seem to be common in Ireland so far.

Acctually nothing wrong but not up to what I expect from a 4 star hotell. Everything is a bit dated, sloppy services, glasses and cups was not changed the first morning. Breakfest not made from start, reheated scrambled eggs, avocado toast that was made with guacamole not fresh avocado. A sticky note in coffee milk. Poor lightning in the toilet made almost impossible to shave. No saftybox..... I could go on regatding the non-exciting SPA but I will stop.

The property was beautifully decorated. Staff were all mostly helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Nice and hot. Room was a family room very spacious, net curtains could do with being replaced. Quite ripped and worn Other than that room was very comfortable. Would nt hesitate to go back to this hotel again. Not really far from Galway.
