First time I have written a negative review. Got downgraded to a room with a single bed because my original double bed room had faulty air conditioning (on the hottest day of the year so far) - room condition clearly was not checked before check-in. Total lack of communication afterwards - said they would call an engineer but did not give me any updates all night whether I could move back into my double room once the problem is fixed. The only call I had was to ask for the original room key back, and they asked me to go back down myself to reception from my hotel room to hand the key back asap, it felt rather insulting! Did not sleep well at all due to room having a single bed rather than a double bed (which is what I booked and paid for). Was not looking for big perks - but they did not offer any compensation or goodwill gesture at all for my poor experience. They only offered to ‘register me as an IHG member’ upon checkout - which would have been free for me to do online anyway! Awful customer service experience overall and an uncomfortable stay. Will not use again.

Lovely staff and rooms. Bit of noise from the road but I wasn't to Disturbed.

Great staff, the room was nice and spacious, comfortable beds. The bathroom is slightly outdated but stull fully functional. The staff was very friendly and efficient

Brilliant hotel. Lovely staff. Clean spacious rooms. Would recommend the restaurant for evening meal. Great access to shops and the channel tunnel.

Friendly staff and great service. The beds are comfy and the rooms surprisingly large and airy. We ate dinner in the restaurant and had breakfast, both of which were lovely.

Everything in this Hotel was spot on...welcoming very clean very nice decor good food.We would definentley go back again.All staff were very helpful and very nice.

Utrolig hyggelig personale, både i resepsjonen og i frokostsalen. Stort rom med alt vi trengte. Med leiebil ble dette det perfekte overnattingssted for utflukter.

Lovely staff & very good service. Food was excellent. Room was very clean & everything you require. Quilt a little thin so slightly cold overnight, other than that it was excellent.

Perfect for an overnight stay before an early Shuttle booking.

Lovely check in, did leave very early so didn’t have breakfast or use the restaurant. We did leave something behind but as soon as I emailed the hotel replied and advised it had been found and was waiting at reception for me, thank you!

Staff were very helpful in reuniting our son with a left behind toy, can't recommend enough

Just passing through the area on business. Found the room to bevery clean and spacious. Never got to use the restaurant and bar facilities.
