The Decumani Hotel de Charme is jewel in old Napoli. The street may seem gritty, but don’t be put off. You are steps away from the best walking tour throughout old Napoli, and a wide array of restaurants including La Locanda Gesu Vecchio. The morning breakfast service is very friendly and caters to everyone’s taste. I have special thanks to the front desk staff, who were always friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Francesco who helped with transportation to the airport upon our departure when discovering there was a taxi strike, and not adequate time to walk the 20 minutes to utilize a bus. Many phone calls were made until the staff became the car service. Graci!

Excellent stay. Breakfast is very good and the service is exceptional. It was worth it just for the breakfast room. Staff all super friendly. Would recommend and will stay again.

Vieux palais très joliment rénové. Un peu mitigée par rapport à l’accueil de la réception… certains sont gentils et polis, d’autres donnent le sentiment d’être dérangé si ont leur adresse la parole…. Bel hôtel situé au centre ville

Very central in centro storico. Quirky. Some of the rooms are a little strange. Nice breakfast.

My expectations were perhaps a little too high given the rave reviews this hotel enjoys all over the web. The flair of the building and the breakfast room - and the breakfast itself - were stunning, but the furnishings in the room were dated and worn rather than antique - our wardrobe didn’t open or close and the hangers fell apart upon use. Corners were dusty. Our room (room 230) went out onto a terrace accessible to all guests so we had little privacy. On the other hand we had a terrace on which to enjoy a late night sink!

Not for everyone but we loved it. Nice to stay on a place with character, history and timeless beauty.
