La camera è abbastanza pulita, ho trovato tutto il necessario, tranne un lenzuolo leggero. Troppo caldo in camera, il piumino è eccessivo. La colazione è ok, poco self service, il resto è da ordinare.

On arrival no one on reception. Notice on desk to ring phone number. No answer and a little while before a member of staff in restaurant saw us waiting. A double room was allocated, I had reserved a twin. Only ate in the restaurant for breakfast which feel was very over priced.

Staff were particularly helpful and pleasant not to mention very efficient. Abi was the very best example of a staff member who did everything to ake our short stay enjoyable. The shower in room 11 needs attention as does the loose toilet seat, otherwise impeccable.

Clean, welcoming, great staff, excellent food. Next to a noisy main road, expected a historic pub/hotel given the name but it was modern and the bathroom was cramped.

Nice and clean. No food after 8.30pm. So had to go into town for take aways. No restaurants open.

Great find everything about the hotel is excellent especially the food. Only slight gripe had to pay for breakfast, could be built into room cost. I had a room at the rear of the hotel which was quiet and not overlooked, I imagine a front facing room could be noisy because of the A59

A most enjoyable stay. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Excellent service with very pleasant staff. Only one small niggle - the sound insulation between rooms/floors not great.

It was a convenient stay as we were visiting an elderly relative in Southport. My wife was a bit uncomfortable in bed saying it had some lumps in the mattress. She was unable to have a shower as all the hotel rooms only have a shower over the bath and she cannot climb over the edge. From a safety point of view there was no handrail for the shower on the wall. We will not be staying there again.

The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were nice and comfortable , the hotel was very dog friendly and the staff were lovely nice and friendly the restaurant was clean and the breakfast was nice with treats for our dog Archie

This is exactly the sort of hotel we need to find more often. Small hotel with efficient friendly staff, very clean rooms. Prettily decorated with a really good dining menu. Good value for money. Will stay again and highly reccomend.
