Very good thank you

Fantastic hotel in a lovely spot and not far from Padstow or Port Isaac etc.. The rooms were clean and well equipped with comfy (if slightly soft) beds, a Dyson fan if required and even Sky TV! Staff were very helpful and efficient. The gym was very well equipped despite being small and the spa facilities were excellent. I had a Cowshed Spa treatment which was very thorough and relaxing. Breakfast was also well catered for (even a Gluten free section), couldn’t fault the selection. Our only feedback we had was that the Tennis Court is in need of some attention. The surface is deteriorating and you can’t rely on a consistent bounce! We also felt that the ‘no kids’ times should be reviewed as we had to wait till 6pm before ‘Adults only’ time by which point you’re probably heading off to get ready for dinner. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

The staff was incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms and restaurant and surroundings very good. The pool, however, was very chilly. Since this hotel is considered a resort, spending time in the pool is part of the enjoyment. You definitely had to keep moving when in the pool to keep warm.

It was great to have a pool and steam rooms. All very clean, however it wasn’t clear that they were open to non residents at certain times so when we wanted a swim the pool was full of children. Staff very friendly and helpful and food in restaurant was excellent.

Really accommodating, great hotel for the family

Excellent staff (spa and hotel), excellent facilities, excellent food and wine. Bed was too firm for my liking but that’s not the hotels fault.

great stay! tidy room, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Highly recommend getting a massage! The spa was clean and very relaxing. Gym is small but has everything you need.

Staff were lovely , very happy and helpful . Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice .. Bedrooms a little hot at times, but I am a person that does like to sleep with a window open . Light pollution from around the curtain and from under the door sadly let this stay down . Over all a very nice stay thank you ..

Really lovely staff and pleasant roast dinner. Excellent massage and nice spa day. Not the best mix to have family swim at a spa but understandable from a use perspective.

Lovely stay, with fab spa facilities and amazing breakfast. Only negatives were the room was sparsely decorated and a bit sterile (perfectly clean and wonderful bed/bathroom) and a humming sound through the night which was possibly coming from a boiler next door. Would definitely stay again

Cons: No shower gel for whole of hotel. Room not cleaned on first day. Poor wi fi (didn't work in room). Tried to overcharge me on my bill when leaving. Pros: great location. Modern room with good facilities. Nice food & friendly staff.

Preis Leistung stimmt nicht. 234 € für ein sehr kleines Zimmer ohne Ausblick und Klimaanlage ist nicht akzeptabel. Zusätzlich wurde die Nachtruhe durch laute Geräusche vermutlich der Heizungsanlage gestört. Als Alternative wurde nur eine Suite für über 600 € pro Nacht angeboten. Frühstück und Hotel Anlage ist ok.

A lovely place to stay and very professional and friendly staff

The room was blah - not bad but nothing special, plainly decorated. Disappointed that the gym closed at 7 PM - for a spa hotel it should be open much later, many chain hotels now have 24/7 gym access. Breakfast was also unnspiring, although the service was fine. Eggs were overcooked (ordered over easy), sausages were dry, Just adequate and not up to par for a nice hotel. Nothing special, far from Wadebridge (7 miles, 16 minute drive) even though Wadebridge is in the hotel address - - I thought this was misleading. And sections of the road leading to the hotel are quite narrow (have to yield to oncoming traffic because 2 cars don't fit side by side) and would be a problem driving at night for someone not used to English countryside lanes.

Excellent hotel in Cornwall. Price needs to stay low. Only issue we had was that the hotel only gave us a table if we booked, as the restaurant is open to the public, we weren’t told this upon check in. Superb breakfast.
