Schönes großes Zimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche, welche nicht sehr sauber war. Frühstück war gut, beim Dinner hatten wir das rib eye, was etwas zäh war.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only problem was the shower hose was not long enough to take a decent shower.

Lovely old hotel in a unique old town. Stairs a bit difficult for elderly people.

Second time staying there, lovely old place. Bar well stocked, dinner and breakfast excellent. Given single room at top of hotel - stonking hot but supplied with fan which helped. Bathtub comfortable but needs a grab rail on the wall for those of us less abled to help us climb out. Otherwise can’t fault it!

Nice room, fantastic food especially breakfast. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. There were 4 of us on three Motorbikes and I can highly recommend this hotel as being Bike friendly.

Room was a lovely size for a solo traveler. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. I had to be up and out before breakfast so they made me a packed lunch! Dinner was nice and a decent price. Bar was busy and decent offering on! Nice place to sit solo or with a pal. The square that it’s on is very pretty.

Clean room, lots of free parking, great location in heart of town and beneath Montgomery Castle. The staff were lovely, food was excellent with priority on using local ingredients and beer and wine. Superb value for money as well. Would not hesitate to return to The Dragon Hotel in future!

Friendly welcome. Assigned room next to fellow travellers as requested. Wonderful spacious cosy room with luxurious toiletries. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Reasonably priced evening meal - though small portions were huge! Lovely breakfast, with choice from 3 cooked as well as cereals and toast. Lovely stay.

The hotel was nice and clean with a nice bar area. Our room was small but comfortable and clean. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and we were very disappointed. The meat pie was not home made, there was hardly any steak in it and the steak that was in it was not nice in both texture and flavour. Chips were not hand cut but frozen. My partners salmon and pasta dish was bland. We did give feedback to the waitress after we had eaten and they were disinterested. There are other negative things I could mention but you get the picture. We enjoyed our stay because the room was comfortable and Montgomery was a charming little village but the restaurant food and service was very poor so let down the overall experience.

Really friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice quiet areas to sit. My bed wasn’t the most comfortable but that’s just my preference. Parking outside.

Comfortable bed, pleasant room, good food, very helpful & pleasant staff. All went to make our stay memorable for all the right reasons!
