Arrived checked in after a few minutes. Nice clean rooms All the staff on when i stayed were attentive and very friendly Lovely little Pub/Restaurant area. Food was excellent quality. Road noise isn't excessive, as its situated on the main road, so dont let that put you off. My self and business partner will be booking accommodation again a couple of time in 26 when we are down in the area on work.

I've used the F&G over many years. It's a decent independent hotel which has recently refurbished at least some of its rooms. If you're fed up of chains, try the F&G.

Very hospitable and great quality food

The room was nice, but we had a problem with both the front window not closing and a noisy hairdryer. However, when we told them at reception, the hairdryer was replaced for a better one and the window was fixed to our satisfaction. Overall, quite satisfied.

I was made to feel very welcome. All the staff were brilliant. Will try to get back again soon

Spacious room. Good room facilities. Excellent bathroom. No information in room about timings for breakfast. No information on booking whether breakfast was included in deal. Slept well until road noise woke me up 630an.

We had a very comfortable stay. All staff are friendly and happy to help with anything we asked. I’m 100% sure we will be back.

No outlets by bed There was only one outlet In corner of room 6 feet from bed.

Convenient to the motorway, the staff are friendly & welcoming but the rooms are a bit dated. Rooms are big & well equipped but need renovating to a modern standard. The mattress on my bed was very soft & saggy. Full English breakfast buffet is nice, eggs are cooked to order but (strangely) they are not keen to serve scrambled eggs. Overall it is good value and I would stay again.

A great pub with comfortable rooms. Rooms are a little dated but clean, large and have everything you need.
