Certainly can't fault my stay here. Friendly staff at teception and the room was clean, tidy and comfortable with all the amenities needed for my stay. The crescent is situated 5 minutes from York centre making it's location perfect.

It was very nice. Lovely rooms. When we arrived disheveled from a missed train and pouring rain the wonderful host gave us tea and coffee. He was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean room at the house. Not far from the Museum, city walls, and the Minster!

We had a lovely stay in York. The house had a very home vibe, it was very cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was amazing for what I was paying and was like a mini apartment. It was in a safe area close to shops. I am not a fan of contact free service and would have enjoyed conversation with staff but saw no one the whole time. Otherwise it was an awesome stay.

Die Unterkunft war gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Besitzer kennt sich in York sehr gut aus und gibt einem direkt Empfehlungen die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Zimmer war allerdings sehr heruntergekommen, alt und etwas schmuddelig. Wenn ich es aber richtig gesehen habe, werden die Räume derzeit nach und nach renoviert. Zu empfehlen wäre es!

The crescent hotel is close to the center of York, so everywhere is walkable. Mo our host was very pleasant and helpful and went over and above to make our stay pleasant.

I enjoyed my stay, greeted by a very friendly and welcoming owner who was able to provide a full overview and recommendations for York. Car Parking was easy and cost just £5 a day which I thought was reasonable for the on street permit. Although this did seem limited on a first come first served basis. Room was basic but had all the necessary amenities, it looked like it had a recent refurbishment. Bed was comfortable. Only issue was the noise from the room. The room is next to reception and so there was noise bleed from the tad loud sound system (not a problem during bed times). The road noise was significant although the owners had kindly provided disposable ear buds in the room if needed. I was fine - but one to watch. Overall would stay here again.

Very clean within walking distance of the city centre, very friendly welcoming staff

Everywhere was clean and tidy. The improvements made by the new owners work much better like the new reception area they have created with a lovely mural of York. The rooms are all being renovated to a good standard with coffee pod machines as well as the usual kettle.We will definitely be back.

Comfy bed....tired decor.

The staff were super friendly & extremely helpful creating a welcoming atmosphere. The property was very close and easy walking distance to tourist attractions and parking was easy.

When we booked the guest house was advertised as bed and breakfast, but after it changed hands this had changed. But we were offered the use of the kitchen and fridge which was really helpful. The manager was very helpful and sorted a couple of small problems very quickly and happily for us
