The hotel lovely, it was quiet, the bed was comfy and the service was second to none

I loved the balcony view. I will admit: it took me several attempts to get the balcony door open to actually enjoy the balcony itself, but I was determined to sit with my cup of tea out there and watch the water.

The staff where very friendly and attentive, food was excellent, the bed was comfortable. The shower was good . My only complaint would be the tea and coffee was cold and toast was served 10 minutes before the cooked breakfast was served. The breakfast itself was hot and good quality. We would definitely go back .

The staff went out of their way to be amazing and the food was terrific! The spot is a quiet and peaceful setting.

Smelly room.very cold. Heating not working, “manager not present”, had to use a portable heater! Minuscule sink, bathroom door handle comes off in your hand if you use it… Breakfast was decent, dining area as well, staff friendly

Rent rum men luktade fränt och konstigt. Fick köpa doftspray. Väldigt slitet hotell och ganska tråkig frukost.

It is dated,food,coffee etc are all poor quality. However Dal the manager is a great guy

Postcode was useless to find the hotel which was ~600m away. Why not describe location as well? Inside was very tired with threadbare carpet. Room was Spartan like. Although we had prepaid, we left after a few minutes. No refund - breakfast was "complimentary".

The multi tasking receptionist was excellent and very helpful, even carrying our heavy bags up to our good sized room ! I was disappointed with the food which arrived too quickly and seemed to be already prepared. The breakfast "menu" was a bit miserable and confusing and for some reason was limited to a type of egg and 4 accompanying items - an unfull English so to speak ! It's well situated with good views of Edinburgh across the Firth and ample parking but be careful parking under the tree s !

Around the property and areas within it needs some love. Looked dirty and unloved in areas.

The hotel has clearly seen better days and is in need of a complete refurbishment. The room was dated, with a stained carpet and a squeaky bed. The linoleum bathroom floor was peeling away in some areas. The bed linen was clean, but there were some unidentified hairs in the shower. Breakfast was okay. A completely different note goes to the staff – they were extremely kind and helpful. Special mention to the Indian restaurant: we didn’t eat there as we weren’t expecting it, but the dishes we saw looked very appetizing.

Nice stay. Friendly staff. Clean room. Only consideration is the noise from road and trains but this dis not bother us.

Water pressure in the shower was poor .shower head was loose both door locks were loose and bathroom lock was damaged sharp

Dal and his staff made our stay fantastic my granddaughter loves the hotel and can’t wait to go back the service is excellent and is in a ideal location for traveling to places
