Decent place and not bad for the price, close enough to the station and restaurants

The room was dirty, Dangerous electrical cable hanging out the wall under the tv. The pillows were all marked. The lights did not work above the bed.

Steer clear of the 'Budget Room.' It's in the basement between the dining room and the desk in the hallway used as reception. The room is tiny. I could lay in bed, reach out to the side and turn the tap on the tap in the sink. No exageration. Stains on the towel. TV remote didnt work (the staff tried his best, going through a handful of clearly dead batteries). Bed is crazy soft: my back was killing me. The other rooms might be nice but definitely not the budget one. Staff were very nice. I stay in London every week for business. Will be avoiding this one.

The kettle doesn't really work.

No elevator ( no lift). The stairs is high and narrow. It is not good for old people to walk with heavy luggage. The room is very small, the restroom in shower area is equal my body. It is difficult to take shower, but clean. The owner lives there and nice. But it is good for small budget of travel. If you are young people and have limited budget then the place is perfect.

Infortunadamente mi experiencia es muy traumática , ya que el día de mi hospedada , antes de la hora de check out (10:18am) estaba a punto de ducharme ( estaba desnuda ) y me abrieron la puerta una persona que trabaja en el hotel . No pregunto si podía abrir , no toco a la puerta , simplemente abrió la puerta , pude esconderme para que no me viera , pero eso generó en mí un ataque de pánico , taquicardia, mucho miedo !!! Es una experiencia muy indeseable . Yo estaba sola y me sentí vulnerada . Es una falta de respeto que violen la intimidad de los clientes, ya que estaba en mi tiempo de privacidad en la habitación , puesto que el check out es a las 11:00 am . Es una mala experiencia

Vi hade en fin vistelse på Albro house! Paret som driver hotellet är väldigt gulliga och tillmötesgående. Rummet är ganska litet men rent och fräscht. Bonus med frukost till priset som vi betalade. Läget är bra med kort promenad till Paddington station.

Twee nachten was goed te doen. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ok. Ik verblijf wel vaker in hotels in Paddington en voor deze prijs heb ik altijd wel dezelfde soort hotelkamers. Douche was ruim en toilet was schoon en.zagen er nieuw uit. Er zijn geen liften dus is het altijd een hele weg om naar boven te lopen. Aardige en vriendelijke manager.

Albro House is a great place to stay. Cosy, clean and very friendly staff. We had a small issue with hot water and the owner immediately responded and tried to fix it. The location is also great, close to Paddington and Lancaster Gate Underground station. I can absolutely recommend it, just be aware that there are no elevators in the building.

Stayed 1 night before flying home after solo trip to England. Manager was very helpful, great breakfast included (continental, extra cost for more). Had great rate for (as expected) tiny room up many many stairs (no lift, which I was aware of and had no problem with, but could be an issue for others). Was great value for the cost for me, I've stayed in a few other properties in the area (Sussex Garden near Paddington), this one was one of the better ones.

My arrival was much delayed, so the host telephoned to make sure I was coming, was altogether very understanding and waited up to check me in. A cosy quiet room. Good bed and breakfast. Recommended!

Great place, convenient location, owner lives at the hotel and he is very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is great and very convenient.
