Hotel locaties beat the busstop. Bus 11 takes you direct to the Edinburgh city centre. A day ticket fiches you the oppertunity to use all bus lines. Hotel diners are good, staf is kind and correct, rooms are sufficiënt but unfortunattely our room was really warm and the radiator know was broken so we courant set to a better temp.

Nice hotel very well situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Check in was nice and easy, room was tidy. Breakfast was ok with plenty of hot food choice.

La habitación que me tocó era grande y espaciosa sin embargo, la alfombra estaba muy sucia y el sillón que tenía también, se veía que no le dieron el mantenimiento necesario para mantenerlos en buen estado, el personal es realmente amable y te ayuda con todo, su desayuno es sencillo pero variado, fruta, cereal, huevo, café, té, bastante abundante. La localización es buena, ya que hay una parada directo para llegar en el bus Lothian, la parada se llama igual que el hotel. Creo que es una buena opción porque conectas rápidamente con el centro de Edimburgo.

Had a great time

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was in decent condition. Some small toothpaste or soap stains on the bathroom floor and the radiator was a little weak. But had a good stay nonetheless. The location is nice and quiet. Not too far to drive to the city centre

Food was absolutly lovely but a little slitghley over priced comfort of room wasnt too bad slightly dated stained walls chairs and brown stain on bedding final night we had a issue with a mouse running round the room so had to be moved rooms parking was excellent plenty of spaces staff were more than accomadating just a few minor alterations but overall a good stay

Estuvimos alojados dos personas durante 3 noches, acogedor y confortable, está un poco alejado del centro pero con muy buena comunicación,el bus número 11 a sido nuestro aliado para ir y volver,el desayuno inglés,no muy variado pero suficiente para desayunar bien,personal atento y amable. Le hace falta alguna mejora ,pero en general bien!

Very good stay with no complaints. The breakfast was amazing, free carpark and closed to all amenities. Around just over half an hour walk to the castle of Edinburgh and there's also a bus stop right outside to get us to the centre. The check out should be at 12pm and not 11am... Apart from that, everything else was good and I will stay there again.

No heating or hot water in room, otherwise fine.

Es un hotel antiguo obvio, es un castillo pero esta por dentro remodelado y muy limpio conservado, el personal es muy amable y el desayuno rico, pero le falta que cambien el bufete Porque si te quedas varios días es lo mismo. Es mi única observación Esta en un lugar muy bonito ves las montañas nevadas Si me volvería a hospedar en el.

The room was spacious but also freezing cold. I put on the electric heater which was not of much help. The central heating stopped at 10pm and didn’t resume til about 7am. Breakfast was served at 8am but I had a meeting at 9am meaning I skipped it and had something on the go.

A historic property with plenty of fun, quirkiness.

Loved this hotel, my room gave me the wow that was looking for. If I had to pick at it I could only say that it just needed a bit of DIY, but over all it was just WOW

The Victorian architect is so gorgeous I feel like I’m staying in a manor.

Elegant and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Tucked into a quiet residential area, but there are pleasant walks and it is close to transit.
