I read bad reviews along with good reviews toward this establishment. There are some truth on both extremes. In my trip experience, I found the staff at least the front desk was quite friendly at the time I arrived a bit late in the evening. I will try to be balanced on my review here, I talk for myself and other's experience might be varied.
Pros:
- The room was clean: the bed, the floor, the bathroom, etc.
- The location (read the additional note below): very close to several fast food joints (McDonald, Five Guys Burgers, KFC, Burger King) and restaurants. And Carrefour is also walking distance (very convenient to buy groceries and other kind of things).
- Mode of transportation: bus stops just ~5 minutes walk.
- Parking was quite accommodating: space lot and well-lit)
Cons:
- The room is: considerably small: not sufficient for a family, even for a couple was not a good size); no iron and ironing board (need to ask the receptionist to lend you the steam iron)' no microwave or coffeemaker; no real desk and chair or some sort (just one square 'night stand' and a desk like stacked shelves with clothes hanger on the side); shower has a weak water pressure; no hand towels just two shower towels and one for the floor; the shower is small (if you are big enough, it might be very uncomfortable to be inside), I'm 5'5" and 160 lbs.
- The gate was closed in the late evening, need to press the bell.
