Was extremely happy with the room. The bed was wonderful super clean, beautiful detail. The stock was excellent made me feel so welcome especially Leonardo. I think his last name is Jones made me feel like I was at home with the breakfast were amazing. We unfortunately didn’t get to go to the bar upstairs checked it out. The atmosphere was beautiful. Bought lunch and had it on the outdoor terrace upstairs just extremely warm and welcoming from the staff at the breakfast getting your cappuccino every morning. It was amazing and the location is absolutely perfect to walk to everything when I’m not a walker so just love the place.

My flight came in early and they let me check in very early. Also, smoothly moved me to my next reservation. So helpful!

Small room and bathroom, but would stay here again in a minute. Superb location, great breakfast. Top bakery across the street, wonderful restaurants one minute away, and gelato shop and cafe on the corner. Room was very quiet, bed super comfortable. Highly recommend!

Boutique hotel was awesome. It is located in the heart of the city within walking distance to so much of what Rome has to offer. The staff were amazingly helpful. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a great property to explore Rome from.

The hotel is in two parts separated by narrow cobbled street that has a wonderful bar, pizzeria and gelato shop, all within yards of the front doors. The elevator is a little slow and rather small in each building and the rooms have limited electrical outlets, but they are clean and very well sound proofed. On the roof they have a lovely little outside bar for snacks, drinks and light snacks, run by a charming manager, Francesca. The breakfast is a marvelous part of being at the hotel with lovely fresh fruits, juices, handmade savory items, hot breakfast items and personally made coffees - all a wonderful way to start the day. Maybe best of all, the Smeraldo Hotel is so close to all the major tourist destinations in Rome, and a large Farmers Market, that is open each day only a two minutes walk away.

Thank you Leonardo and staff for making our trip to Roma the finale of our trip 5 stars , your location is amazing , surrounded by adorable shops and restaurants . Breakfast was amazing, the morning staff so friendly and accommodating. A barista making cappuccino , we didn't want to leave. It is definitely not ciao but see you later.. Bari and Dan USA 🇺🇸

Great location, really good included breakfast, decent bar, amazing neighborhood. If you are new to Rome this is a perfect starting point.
