We absolutely loved the place & breakfast was a plus. They had a tremendous staff! The place is very clean. I would definitely stay there again. Rooftop bar was our favorite.

Hotel Smeraldo was just amazing. The staff, room, rooftop, location were spectacular. Since the moment we arrived we felt at home. The breakfast was great and I recommend the pizza in-front of the hotel (superb).

Great location with kind stuff members. Close to great food planes and nice stores. It’s a small room but has everything that you need. The bad was very comfortable and the room was clean. Great value for money

This hotel was everything we hoped for. The location is incredible— it is in the center of everything you want to see — St Peter’s, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, etc etc. The staff is first rate, very very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. And the included breakfast is absolutely incredible. Espresso made to order the second you walk inside! Every kind of delightful pastry available. Bacon and eggs and sausage! Also a lot of healthy choices like yogurt and granola. Fresh juices etc etc etc too much to list

It was a very clean and beautiful facility. It was in a great location. There was a wonderful variety of food for breakfast. The staff was helpful in getting a taxi for our transfer to the airport.

Nice place

We stayed for one night and it was fine however location of hotel is not very convenient and the rooms are very small. There is a nice rooftop bar and the staff were lovely. Breakfast had a good variety.

Staff was incredible from start to finish. They helped me arrange transportation before we arrived, and once we checked in all of the staff was amazing. Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Smeraldo. The staff members were very helpful and informative. The room was clean and comfortable. What a fabulous location!. We walked to all the attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall great experience for a 3 star hotel

Super helpful staff on reception. We arrived early following the close of our cruise at 9.15am and managed to source our three rooms early, provided us with a complimentary coffee and croissant and also showed some playful humour. We will be ack for a longer stay. BW Keith

This hotel was the perfect place to stay in Rome. Centrally located within walking distance to major historic sites. Hotel staff was amazing and very helpful with recommendations and arranging transportation. I’ve already recommended this hotel to others heading to Rome.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at Hotel Smeraldo. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The staff was attentive, incredibly helpful and understanding - we arrived 6 hours prior to check in they had a room ready for us within the hour. The location was perfect- walking distance to all the sites, plenty of restaurants and cafes and Campi di Giorgi right around the corner! We will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing stay. Leonardo was especially great with making sure we had all everything we needed in order and took the time to remember our name. It was a great location and exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend for those traveling to Rome!

Great small hotel in an ideal location near Campo D’Fiore. Short walk to Pantheon and Trastevere. Staff was super helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Amaro on the rooftop bar was a lovely way to end the day. Highly recommended.

Great location and the staff was so helpful in directing us to restaurants and locations. Loved our stay will recommend to others visiting Roma.

Excellent location with walking distance to many attractions. Only downside for me was that the room was a little hot at night (we also were staying during a heat wave so I understand everyone was hot). Thermostat did not seem to be adjustable. I had staff take a look, and he reset it and told me it was central air for all rooms and at its lowest setting? I chalked it up to a language barrier issue and dealt with it. Of the two hotels we stayed at in Rome, this was the best one and we would be happy to return.
