Comfortabel, good location

I have been coming yearly for 6-7 years and the standard has been decreasing every time The room is full of dust on all the black surfaces. The door to the toilet is broken and cannot open be open with pushing hard. The breakfast is way below standard. This was me final visit to Axel Berlin.

Good location. Good design, but looked better in the past. Is getting a bit worn. The spa was closed when I was there.

Very pleasant and helpful staff

Very hard to find the parking around the area because hotel doesn't have the parking. No variety in the breakfast. I booked the room with breakfast but went for breakfast one day only.

I had a great stay at Axel hotel! Santiago helped me my first day and let me check in early after a long travel day. Unfortunately the spa and sauna was closed during my stay so I couldn’t enjoy everything this trip.

Medarbejderne i receptionen, specielt “Kevin” var fantastisk Ellers er Hotel Axel som det plejer at være, læs de andre anmeldelser er enig. Og super at “SPA” bliver renoveret efter 8 år hvor den ikke var været aktiv. Morgenmad god til prisen 15 Euro. 2-3 stjerners Hotel Personale 10 stjerner

Efficient affordable friendly staff

Really good hotel

Property is in a good location. Although air conditioning was advertised, it was not available because the system has to be switched from hot to cold air and cannot accommodate both. The room was very hot during the day and windows had be left open allowing bugs to enter room. The staff did provide fans, but it was still very uncomfortable. The bed was very hard and pillows were not comfortable. We were informed via email after the cancellation window that the spa would be closed for renovation. This was the main reason we booked this hotel. They did not offer anything for this inconvenience. The value of staying there was greatly reduced.

Nice property. I’ve visited it 3 times. Time for a remodel. They’ve started with the spa area
