Good value , location and comfortable. We have stayed several times.

A convenient location that suits our needs. Good breakfast.

Very nice hotel with pub facilities...live music on Friday night was a treat... Only downfall was our room which was very nice but above it must have been staff quarters which were very noisy....mainly floorboards that squeaked really loud Great location for visiting attractions in the area

Zimmer und Frühstück waren ok. Das Bad war sehr klein und die Dusche war Schwierig zu erklimmen. Ich finde 20Pfund pro Nacht für den Hund extra auch zu viel. Die Pfoten machen auf dem Teppich dieselben Abdrücke wie unsere Schuhe und eine Decke habe ich immer mit.

Charming hotel. Upgraded from a single to double room. I stayed un the older part of the hotel. Unfortunately I can't seem to upload a photo. Very comfortable. Able to open the window for fresh country air all night. Ample parking. Great restaurant and bar. Staff (front of house) and restaurant were welcoming and friendly.

It is actually the only hotel I will stay in Ashford superb really friendly staff can’t help you enough. Absolutely lovely. Well done to housekeeping for those little special touches.

Really nice place with great staff. It’s a lovely old building but the reception area could do with a freshen up, otherwise, excellent.

Receptionist was so helpful, sat nav took me to a different place, rang and she guided me to the hotel, big friendly welcome. Rooms dated but large and clean, great breakfast, value for money.

This is an exceptionally good hotel, all the usual facilties, good free wifi, comfortable bed, good shower, excellent dining room and breakfasts with good choice of breakfast. Good restaurant within the hotel with reasonably priced meals. Staff very helpfull. The only downside was no mirror in the bathroom so had to use own small mirror to shave by.

Es war ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt. Natürlich ist das Hotel älter aber genau das macht den Charm aus. Es ist es bisschen wie in einem Film. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das wirklich besondere sind aber die Mitarbeiter. Alle sind super freundlich und haben uns wunderschöne Tage bereitet. Vielen Dank. Gruß Sebastian

Great entertainment, food, drink and comfy rooms.

Unsatisfactory facilities in room - only ceiling lighting, overpowering smell of carpet cleaner, no hotel details in room, TV too small, no heating in bathroom. Could not relax in room in evening. Staff pleasant but not proactive to concerns.

Since our last visit 8 years ago, maintenance seems to have been frozen. New, was the possibility to bring pets in the room: from 10PM we could enjoy barking, hauling and crying dogs (and not the small ones) At that time there is no staff available anymore, so you just have to cope with it. We left this morning after just one hour decent sleep during the whole night. This hotel goes on our black list!

We only stayed one night but staff were very courteous and even got a room ready for us when we too early for check in ! Very clean and bed was super comfortable.

Whilst our room and service was good the hotel is a little tired and dated. The staff was very good and we enjoyed the food.

Property ok. Nice cosy bed. Carpets worn. Lights dodgy lectrics and no hot water for shower
