Had a lovely stay at the Wild Pheasant when attending a concert in Llangollen Pavillion. It's about 10 minutes walk into Llangollen and about the same to the Pavillion. All staff encountered were really friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, clean and spacious. More available electric sockets in room would have been good Had a meal from the Glasshouse in the afternoon and it was excellent. Breakfast was great. Would recommend.

Too hot to sleep in no air conditioning rooms need an upgrade rest of the hotel nice

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Room was a little tired, but we did have a great outdoor space, being on the ground floor, although laundry next to the bedroom wasn't ideal when they delivered in the morning. Convenient for the town, and the hotel bar/bistro was a great space.

The staff and service was really good here and it’s a really pretty hotel but could do with investing in air conditioning as it was so hot. Reception were very lovely and found me a second fan and it was fine but air con would be a very good investment. The spa was nice but again could do with a little investment with some rusty patches here and there. The head rub was a little strange, but overall the stay was very good, the staff were lovely and I’d stay again, but perhaps not on a very hot day. Breakfast was also lovely but we were on the later entry and so there were no pastries left or watermelon, it was fine and the main event was delicious but just a note.

Booked the room and very disappointed then the spar was extra towels extra very disappointed will never go back

Two nights stay at the Wild Pheasant hotel in Llangollen combined with steam train trip. Ideally situated ( 10 minutes walk into town centre) alongside the river Dee

The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was lovely. The shower in the ensuite was really powerful which was a great surprise. Excellent walking distance into town as well, especially lovely along the canal path.

Easy checking in, with nice and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable - had a quiet, relaxing night. Breakfast was great and set me up for the following day. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay, Room was ready earlier than expected. Very spacious and quiet room. Loved the use of the spa facilities the following morning. Will definitely be back when visiting friends in the area.

No complaints, hotel excellent. Taxi service poor, bus late, mobile signal poor.

Excellent venue and restaurant was beyond excellent. Definitely highly recommend this property.

The beautifully maintained garden is a pleasant welcome to the Wild Pheasant. All within is clean and tidy. Our room was spacious and comfortable. However, the lack of air conditioning and south facing windows made the room hot, even in early May. A fan is provided, but I doubt whether it is sufficient on a summer day.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Certainly dog friendly, it was the first time we had travelled with our puppy.

We enjoyed a weekend stay at The Wild Pheasant. The room was comfortable with a supply of tea,coffee and milk. The food was good and the dining room is pleasant.As it was the bank holiday weekend the hotel was very busy and therefore quite noisy at times. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Llangollen.

The only complaint we had was the size of the bed which wasn’t a full size double.

Good location, nice setting and friendly staff. Hotel inside run down and in need of updating although it was clean so great work by the cleaning staff. The bed very old and worn out and very uncomfortable. The springs worn out. The bathroom had no window or working fan to take away steam causing damp smells. Furniture in room and en suite very old along with carpet which needs replacing. The light in the room by the main door had no way of turning off so the light was on all night. Overall okay but definitely not a 4 star as advertised. Personally I have stayed in 3 star hotels better then this one. If the rooms were updated with new bed, furniture, carpet, bathroom suite and working fan the guest experience would be much better.
