Out stay was nice… we didn’t have breakfast there, so we can’t comment on it. We decided to explore the local places to eat. But the pool was nice and the hotel room was comfortable and very adequate. We location is good and easy to walk into town for food and drinks

I was only here barely 48 hours. (Long story). But it was cool, and I liked the location during to it being close to town via walking distance

My room was not clean and the toilet paparazzi was not enough for us and no toilet paper holder Disgusting The people that were in room 18 had there tv all night long and we were not able to sleep the first night and all day the fallowing day the tv was left on For the price we paid it was not worth it

I enjoyed the pool, the butterflies and the nature trails.

We didnt spend much time in the room other than to sleep. Don't stay in room 24!! Every night there was a full choir singing very loudly until 9pm at night The one night they were singing nursery rhymes, for no reason. The room was right next door and felt like they were inside our space! The up side was the air conditioning was great. We stayed in a Junior suite, so it had a 5 gallon water bottle which we appreciated. There was a kettle, so I brought oatmeal with me for a quick breakfast. No towels in the room when we got there, but housekeeping was lovely and provided The pool is great. We were in it around 230pm each day until sun was gone from it around 530pm Bartender was not friendly at all. That part was a bummer All other staff was very nice. Right across the street from a big, well lit grocery store as well which was handy. We walked to Guava limb for dinner one night as it was around the corner (delicious!) King bed was comfy. 2 small twin beds were pretty hard.

Nice mix between the bar and the pool ....

We liked the pool and pool bar on hot afternoons. We stayed in the cabins; the trees have bright lights at night. We did have a small room lizard, scorpion, and ants on different nights, but the staff quickly noted and fixed a running toilet issue.

High energy with friendly staff.

The rooms were clean, except we did find a scorpion on the wall in one of our rooms and we disposed of it directly. The AC's worked well and kept the rooms cool. The door to the bathroom in one of our rooms was out of alignment and would not latch closed. The pool was nice and the bar area around the pool was also a great place to relax. The kitchen and serving staff were outstanding! The breakfast burritos were ready for us for an early morning departure and were yummy. Coffee was also excellent. The grounds were well kept and parking was not an issue. It would have been helpful to know that the water in the rooms was not potable. However they did offer free refills of your own water bottle or container. WiFi worked ok too.

You kept us in a room with a major safety hazard.

Staff were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Great location! Beautiful trail to the river. If possible, the small extra cost for a balcony room is definitely worth it!

Great place to stay .

Clean room, nice pool, and close to some good restaurants and the San Ignacio marketplace. Easy to hop across the street and get a few snacks or groceries from the grocery store. Staff was flexible and you can pre-order your breakfast the night before on site if you are planning an early tour. Only downside was staying the second food room facing front (hotel guests and nighttime swimmers were a bit loud for someone like me who needed to get to bed early).

Really enjoyed our stay at the Midas! The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and ours had a fully equipped kitchen as well. The pool area and bar were relaxing, especially after a long day in the jungle. The staff were wonderful, especially the kitchen crew, who worked tirelessly to get breakfast orders out at 6 am, even when there was a citywide power outage one morning. Everything was within walking distance as well, just a short stroll to restaurants and services. Highly recommended!

Clean fun bungalows with nature outside so you don’t feel like you are in the city, but it’s close to town. The walk to the market and restaurants is only 5 mins. Water refill in the lobby and excursions pick you up at the hotel easily. Staff is nice as well.

Rooms were clean, beds a little soft but comfortable . The pool was a wonderful break from midday temperatures (hot)! Butterfly area was a treat. Air con worked well! Staff very friendly and helpful! Shower not so good…very little water pressure.
