Breakfast was sadly depleted and not very hot.

Nicely spacious room and quiet with a bath and shower over. A good place to stay for visiting Garsington opera festival or cricket at Wormsley. The hotel’s breakfast room by the end of service was a bit run down and uninspiring. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rather tired property. Understaffed. On checking at 3pm there seems to be only one member of staff covering reception and the bar. We asked for some tea with cake or biscuits, and we were told we could only have tea because afternoon tea had to be booked 24hrs in advance. We were hoping to have atleast biscuits or cake but there were none. We were told that the chef leaves at 3pm. The hotel is isolated and there is no where nearer to get anything. We were group of 8 stayed at the hotel and were disappointed. No water bottle in the room either. Hotel is expensive for what you get.

Although the location was very pleasant and room sizes were generous, the facilities and service was less desirable.

I would have given this a 4-5 star rating BUT the TV alarm went off at 02:00 - middle of the night - jolting me awake. WHY??!!

Personnel agréable

This was the first time staying here, rooms are large and clean with comfy beds but when we arrived in the early evening the room was quite cold and even after turning up the heat it didn't seem to do much. During the night while in bed the heating seem to come on and really warm the room up, not really the time it is needed..Overall it was a good stay

We liked the clean, modern style of the place - in particular the dining room. And the friendly efficiency of the reception staff - also the excellent food.

The Indian food menu was excellent, great food. Good choice of drinks. Good breakfast buffet and nice rooms

Clean and comfortable but service was a little slow and could be more enthusiastic. Bar closed at 11pm on Sat night and wouldn’t serve 8 of us a nightcap even though we were residents.

Excellent - We were running very late to check in due to Motorway crash but no problem for the hotel. Philip handled it with humour and efficiency Highly recommended

The staff were friendly and very courteous. Food was freshly prepared and service was good. Everywhere was clean and well kept

Evening restaurant service poor. Most staff appeared overwhelmed. No checkbacks, slow/forgotten drinks orders, lots of empty salt and peppers.

Breakfast could be much better, however evening meals were nice.

This was not advertised correctly. We booked as air conditioning was included at the hotel and in the room we booked. Then they placed us in a room without - tiny, extremely hot room and we were not comfortable. Only thing they could offer was a fan, nothing else. We were then told we would hear back with refund options, but absolutely nothing has been done.

Little chance of sleeping in this hotel alongside a noisy road. It felt like our room was on top of the road! Badly designed bathroom. Not to be repeated.
