5th or 6th stay - I've lost count. The staff as ever courteous, friendly and helpful. The room spotless every day. Excellent size pool, plenty of loungers (no need to play "place the towel"). Good choice of lunch at the adjacent snack bar.

We had such a fantastic stay at this hotel in Tenerife! The place is huge, with lots of rooms and bungalows, and even though it’s a bit older, it truly has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Rooms are very clean. The swimming pool area is massive, with an outdoor bar, a kids’ pool, and plenty of space for children to play both in and out of the water. In the afternoons kids also can play in a lovely playground for the little ones. Breakfast and dinner were honestly the best I’ve ever had in Spain. So much variety and everything was delicious! I especially loved the fresh bread buns – soft inside and perfectly crunchy outside (definitely not hard, as some reviews say). Dinner was full of options: different meats, fish, seafood… everything tasted amazing. Even my partner, who is quite fussy with food, was eating three plates every evening! We also liked that here is the gym, it is not big but it’s good for holidays to do some workouts. The evening shows were a highlight for us. One night there was a circus-style performance, another night acrobatics, and even a magic show. Before the main show, there was a fun mini disco for kids, which they absolutely loved. The drink prices at the bar were also very reasonable. The staff were friendly, fast, and always helpful. This was my 3rd visit to GF Isabel and it was fabulous, as ever.

Onze accommodatie lag heel rustig en mooi.We miste in de woonkamer wel een lamp in de zithoek. Verder super tevreden.

Everything was first class, reception, room was fantastic, staff, food and the entire hotel was faultless. 5 Star for sure.

Been to this hotel 5 times and would go back again. Rooms need updating a bit. Restaurant is busy but big enough to accommodate everyone. Staff all friendly

Large pool good food but didn’t like killing 59 cockroaches in my room in 2 days and had to ask twice to clean my room properly. Front desk staff we’re great shame about lack of communication

Long walk (5-10mins) from entrance/reception to our apartment. Air con in apartment was useless - not sure if adhering to Spains 27 degrees Celsius lower limit… felt like it!

Overall we had a good stay at the GF Isabel, we had a 1 bed apartment which had enough space for a family of 4, the hotel had enough sun beds, pools and bars .. etc. Only down points were that the kids couldn't use floats in the pool and the half board / full board options are very limited for vegetarians.

My stay at GF Isabel was brilliant. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The facilities were amazing - accommodating to all. Overall it was a lovely stay and I’d definitely be coming back here again that’s for sure!

Absolutely gorgeous, what made this hotel so special was the staff. They were so dedicated and amazing. We will return. The food was incredible, the housekeeping staff were exceptional and the bar/restaurant staff were so professional and fast even though my husband insisted to practice his terrible Spanish with them.

Cleanliness was excellent. Plenty of space in the apartment. Got woken up a couple of nights by neighbours moving chairs around on the tiled floors which reverberates through the building. Also interconnecting doors with other apartments have little sound proofing. Finally, I was half board and evening meals were a bit hit and miss (one evening of the 4 I went to a restaurant as the food offer was not appetising in GF Isabel).

property is clean and very well maintained. The grounds are spacious and attractive and facilities for children are excellent.

Hate to be too critical because we only stayed there one night, but we ran into a few issues: 1. Upon entering the room, we were blasted by the smell of a cleaning agent that required us to open windows and the front door for a couple hours to air out. 2. Didn't have time for breakfast because of an early-morning flight and asked to buy a coffee at the breakfast. I was told I would have to pay for the full buffet price to do so. Only alternative, I was told, was to wait until the bar in the lobby opened at 9 a.m., after I was gone. 3. Maid service knocked on my door before 8 a.m. to ask when we were leaving. Full disclosure: I hadn't put the "do not disturb" hanger on my door, but shouldn't the attendant check with the front desk to see if the room has been vacated? None of these things was a deal breaker by themselves, but put together it didn't add up to a great stay.
