Nice location. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast (for a fee).

We loved Hotel Alegria! Beautiful hotel - dining room, lobby, rooms, and hallways. Comfy bed, nice lighting, awesome shower. We loved the park and cafe across the street from the hotel. If you order food from the cafe, it’s coming from the hotel. Great options for dining around the square/hotel - excellent tapas and wine restaurant, breakfast restaurant, and a steak restaurant. Very cool speakeasy close - The Red Frog - I recommend making a reservation ahead. We’ll definitely staying at Hotel Alegria next time we’re in Lisbon.

A perfect combination of a well-renovated space with a historical feel. Beautiful rooms in the heart of the city, while still being tucked away and quiet! Walking to everything and a sweet little park across the street to enjoy a coffee or glass of sangria!

Historische Altbausubstanz, aber sehr schöne und originelle Inneneinrichtung mit vielen alten Büchern an unterschiedlichen Stellen. Staff zurückhaltend freundlich, aber sehr aufmerksam. Frühstück auch originell - nicht zu porig, aber von allem was da. Auch hier wieder Unikatischer historischer Charme eines alten Hauses. Vor dem Haus ist direkt ein kleiner Park und zur Zeit des Stadtfestes bis spät in die Nacht Remmidemmi, das sollte man wissen. Ansonsten von der Lage sehr zentral. Gerne wieder.

We have found this to be an absolutely wonderful hotel, with a great location, helpful and friendly staff, and lovely rooms and ambience. We definitely recommend this for a stay in Lisbon.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was very convenient and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast was amazing. It was everything you want your European vacation to be!

The hotel is very nice but since it faces a park with a band stand they often have really loud music 6-8 hours a night, even until midnight. Esthetics were lovely, mini bar was great, food was good but I thought breakfast was included, check your reservation. Otherwise $18 for a great breakfast. Also I thought it was expensive

The hotel is located on a popular square and is situated between Avenue de Libertatade and Princpe Real--But it still feels tucked away. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful. The junior suite was smaller than we anticipated but beautiful--wood floors, vintage furniture, comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. A festival was occurring in the Plaça and we had front row seats. It was a blast and not very disturbing. We loved walking the area and exploring very different neighborhoods around us.

What an utterly perfect place to stay in Lisbon. Beautiful, spacious room, lovely views, wonderful amenities and the single greatest breakfast experience we have ever had. Ines and the entire staff were delightful.

Great location, great service, everything about the hotel was very first class. The morning buffet included with our room was fantastic.
