Overall ok. Check in pretty smooth. £5 to park the car as i had used hotels.com and not booked direct. Room okay but not as clean as could be, sofa looked worn out and walls grubby in places. Bathroom towels could do with replacing. Windows had blown so condensation between panels. Bed comfy. Did not ahve any food here due to quick stop over

A lovely warm greeting from the team as we checked in. Our room had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was so quiet. We had the meal deal and the quality and amount for what you pay is excellent! I stayed here for a night with my daughter whilst work was being done on the house and we only live 10 mins away. If we lived further afield then Id definitely use this hotel again. For a low budget hotel, its amazing! Everyone is so friendly and polite. I cant rate it highly enough.

The room which was already paid for and even done an online check in was simply given to someone else! Ended up with no room past midnight with family. The staff simply said sorry and couldn't evwn do a refund as they did not have a refund form !!! Such a pathetic service. Definitely would avoid .

The double sofa bed was uncomfortable. It dipped down at one side so didn’t sleep great. Otherwise everything else was fine. We didn’t get a breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely, good Rise and shine deal.

Room was cold on entry around 10pm. Put the radiator on to heat the room up which took a few hours . Bedsheets were cold and couldn’t heat up for hours . I was charged £5 per night to park here on a motorway services which didn’t apply before . Iwas told it was a new policy which doesn’t apply if you book direct . I should be able to book with whatever site I chose . I will be avoiding this place and the hotel chain until they review there policy’s . As a principal you should not have to pay parking when the hotel has a large carpark . Just another additional charge to rip people off . Beware.

The staff actually listened to my requirements and all sorted out for me.

Just stayed with my two adult girls and was well impressed with our stay. The only downfall was guests doors been left to slam behind them but again not the hotels fault. Overall I’d pay to stay again. Pleasant and comfortable

Sadly due to the red alert with the storm, my disabled mother and I could not make the trip. We live in Scotland and the alert advised not to travel due to risk of life threat. I called and spoke to Angela who seemed very empathetic and advised that it’s up to hotels to decide if refund is given. This was untrue. In fact it was emails directly received from the hotel Declining a refund signed by Angela. Which generated the rating. I would rather have been told honestly by the hotel than been told untruths by Angela.

Lovely hotel, perfect for pitstop

We was very impressed by the hotel overall and our room would certainly recommend , the hotel has very good sound proofing because you could not hear any outside / road noise once you walked into the premises/ room

Had to psu £120 deposit which i thought was a bit steap

Rubbish, water was dripping from the windows, had to put a towel to soak up the water. Also had to pay for amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste. Which modern hotel doesnt provide that in this time.

Last minute booking due to change in our travel plans. Excellent service, lovely clean room

Excellent service from receptionists to breakfast staff. Shower did not drain so had to turn it off mid-shower to prevent flooding the bathroom. Breakfast area badly designed. There was nowhere to put your plate whilst holding the lids of the containers & dishing out the food

Inexpensive, practical, EV charging, friendly staff.

The hotel is conveniently close to the motorway, still not loud. TV programs were not available because of connection problems.

We were welcomed wonderfully by the night manager who was very friendly. The room was smart and clean though a tad cold though the heating kicked in a bit later. They very kindly put a cot in our room however the mattress was very thin and no sheet. It was ok our little one cuddled up with me and we had a good sleep in a comfy bed. Breakfast was standard and a good selection. All in all very good value
