The property was amazing from the lobby with the Koi fish ponds to the pool and hot tub! The room was great with a nice patio to sit at and enjoy the views of the park across the street. Having all the amenities in the room (fridge, stove, microwave, coffee makers, kettle, etc) and the washer/dryer combo unit was really handy. Onsite spa and especially the onsite coffee shop and free bike use were great bonuses as well, but the main thing that set this place apart was the staff! To mention a few specifically, Bryana, Ben, Ayano, and Solamae were truely amazing! Always friendly and smiling and super helpful with everything from were to eat to how to get around town. Overall a perfect 29th Anniversary get away for my wife and I. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Victoria!

The rooms are a bit tired. Paint touch ups don’t match the original colours, mattresses are very old and soft and the curtains don’t close properly so it’s bright in the morning. It’s not very soundproof- you can hear chairs dragging across patios above your room. For the price, it’s certain there’s better value elsewhere.

Great location. Nice to have the kitchen and two bathrooms while traveling with kids. Highly recommend!

Love their commitment to environmental sustainability. Price was reasonable but the fact that we stayed there for 9 days and there was no discount or any complimentary gift was disappointing.

Very nice hotel with spacious suites and lots of amenities! Comfy beds. I want to buy the comforter they use as it didn't make me hot when I slept. The balcony overlooking the park was nice to drink my morning coffee. They also have the coffee shop on site that was another plus. My daughter enjoyed the pool and feeding the koi fish. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great location! Walkable neighborhood. Would stay here again.

The suite was spacious with lots of room for our three person family. The front desk was always helpful. There are bikes to borrow but you have to get one early. I wasn’t aware that there was no Air conditioning but I didn’t think to look for that assuming that the hotel would have it. We visited when it was quite warm. There are fans but the room was very warm. The windows are small and there wasn’t much of a breeze. We were also woken up each morning when the buses started running at 5am because the windows were open. This would stop me from booking in the future. The location was great and we could walk to wherever we needed to go.

This property is walking distance to many restaurants ,bars and attractions. The staff is excellent and amenities are very good. It was the hottest 2 days of the year and the property doesn't have A/C so the rooms were very hot.

Everything was very organized, clean and efficient. The only small downside was the lack of air conditioning.

The Parkside lobby is spectacular with high ceilings, glass walls, coy fish pond (they provide food so you can feed), ample seating to enjoy the lobby, a Resturant. The pool is large enough to do laps. We stayed in a 6th floor one bedroom facing the city (it was loud), the unit was extremely clean, comfortable, well maintained, eco friendly (provide eco cleaning products, recycling/ compost), unit had laundry machine (they supplied pods), bedroom was large, comfortable king sized bed, closet, the kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal (no spices), they provide cream, coffee pods, tea bags. The staff were very friendly, helpful & efficient. The parkside also provided complimentary bikes to use during stay. Parking was ample & secure ($22 a day). Highly recommend!

Our stay was excellent! The property was in a great location and the staff were extremely friendly. Our room was clean, very spacious (2 adults & 2 teenagers) and had so many useful amenities (ie in-room washer/dryer). One of the best hotel experiences we have had in over 20+ years of traveling.

Great location, set back from the harbour but very easy walking. Beacon Hill park on the doorstep is beautiful. Staff were really lovely, very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast there but the cafe looked good.

Beautiful and comfortable suite with balcony, koi pond in the lobby, beautiful grounds and the on site cafe has great coffee and the food was SO good! We had a great time and would stay here anytime we visit Victoria.
