Always a comfortable stay and views across the golf course are scenic. For us visiting families , it's an ideal position. The bar is quite boisterous at times with large groups of golfers meeting up before and after tournaments, but of course it is a busy golf centre. The facilities at the health spa are excellent swimming pools and changing facilities are spacious.

We stayed in a cottage. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. Perfect for a group. The staff were very helpful, and the restaurant in the main hotel was good.

This is a gr8 place to relax or play a round of golf. The staff are very helpful. The hotel rooms are lovely. They are not huge but have enough room to feel comfortable. There are 2 golf courses here. The Kernow course is a good test of your golf whatever handicap you have. The Nickolas course is the signature course and this will definitely test your golf and patience. There is a gym here but I did not use it. I did however use the health suite which has 2 pools a sauna a steam room and a jacuzzi. I found the beer prices reasonable but I would like a better food menu as I didn't think they had a good choice. I would recommend St Mellion to anybody whether they play golf or not.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, our room and all facilities and amenities were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was first class . We we definitely be staying again.

This hotel is always my go to when staying in the area. It's in a beautiful location, quiet and well placed to travel to the areas I need to go. The rooms are great no matter what ones you get. Facilities are fantastic, and as I understand it the golf courses superb, I certainly enjoy running around them early in the morning before the balls start flying.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July and I have to say that the golf course is absolutely beautiful! So well looked after! The hotel is dated but it is 50 years old, we stayed in a superior suite and it definitely was not worth the rate that we paid because it is dated. I'm afraid the housekeeping was terrible, the bed wasn't properly made and the bins were not emptied on 2 of the days and no attempt at actually tidying the suite.

Nice room. Comfortable bed. Great gym. Staff very helpful. Hotel a little tired in places, however overall a really enjoyable stay. The EV Car charging stations are the most expensive I’ve seen anywhere, charge beforehand!

The property was a little dated, but perfect for what we needed - quiet location with a nice little balcony to sit out on in the morning with a coffee and to watch the sunrise! Great breakfast also.

Beautiful Hotel and Estate. Pool area and spa area beautiful, clean, well maintained. Could maybe do with a couple more showers in the ladies changing area. Reception friendly and helpful. Only downside was we were unable to book into one of the restaurants, and were told we could go into the main area for food. When we did, at 8.15pm we were told they were taking no more orders. This meaning we needed to leave the hotel to find a place to eat, which wasn’t ideal

Feel it’s a bit tired. And had issues with my shower not working and had to use the gym showers.

Booked a Signature room overlooking the golf course for a 3 night stay. On the first night it was abundantly clear the rooms air conditioning wasn’t working. Informed reception the following morning and advised maintenance would be notified. Despite 2 further visits to reception no repairs completed but an electric fan left in the room. Which isn’t ideal to have whirring away throughout the night. So very little sleep had.
