Really lovely room, so convenient to everything and staff were very helpful and friendly. Totally recommend.

One of the oldest Inn’s in Wales. Inside the Castle walls and totally unique. An awesome cute tiny pub and they say the Inn has a resident ghost! Only a 5 minute walk to Castle Caernarfon which is an amazingly well preserved castle from 1283.

The Black Boy is an authentic inn right in the heart of Caernarfon. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the food and drink options are plentiful. We loved stepping back in time at the Black Boy!

We chose this location because we wanted something different. Preferably haunted. And definitely quirky. It was all of the above, including being very clean and comfortable.

Old inn full of character in a beautiful walled medieval town.

Access in a car was tight but a decent car park (at a price). Reception very helpful. Room comfortable. Five minute walk to the castle. Food served in the bar.

What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment

Great weekend in Caernarfon. Accidentally booked to stay the weekend of the food festival but we got a call to give us advice on parking and arriving super early to beat the crowds which was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We were in the townhouse round the corner from the pub and the room was lovely, very clean and spacious! The staff were very helpful and welcoming too! Highly recommend!

Overall a good, clean, comfortable room, however, we were disappointed not to be staying above the Black Boy Inn, but rather their townhouse around the corner and opposite a very rowdy pub.

Generally excellent. Great staff. Really needed a better (quieter) fan in the absence of aircon.

They also own a building around the corner... thats where we lodged. Had to walk a couple blocks for breakfast. Quiet , convenient, and clean. Parking is orivided by the Pub but it's a 5 min walk uphill to the lidgings.

Overall good we were in room 30 I do not know where it was coming from but we could hear music till late at night and early in the morning 🤔🤔🤔.

Lovely visit to our favourite part of Wales

Staff was extremely professional and wonderfully helpful; quickly reassigned me to another room when an issue arose and helped book me a taxi for my departure. I would certainly return for my ‘third’ visit as its great value for money with ‘first-rate’ customer-service!

This hotel is fantastic!! Built in 1522. It has three pubs and a great restaurant. It is located in the center of the old city. The staff at the hotel and people in Caernarfon were super friendly. We attended a wedding in Snowdonia, and this hotel was our base of operations for three days. We probably won't ever have an opportunity to return, but I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!! Try the Welch Pie at the restaurant!!
