One of the most beautiful places in the world! I loved every second of my stay there. Peaceful. Gorgeous. Incredible birding!

Lodge set in forest on lake edge in one of most pristine areas in South Africa. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of activities - day trips on lake, canoe trip on lake over, forest walk, watching turtles land and lay eggs. Impressed by lodges efforts to be eco-friendly, but don’t expect fluffy white towels or air conditioning. If you love nature and being away from the crowds we highly recommend this lodge.
