Stayed at Chateau d’Urspelt to kickoff a 2 week trip in Europe from America. From the second we turned into the hotel grounds (which lies upon renovated castle grounds), we were so impressed. We immediately had our jaws on the floor with the overall ambience and beauty of the resort, and enjoyed time in the library on the first afternoon. Major highlights that simply cannot be found elsewhere are the gorgeous spa equipped with a LARGE network of natural-looking caverns to swim through, with an amazing sauna, and the very cool underground cellar bar which was also larger than I thought. The second night a large senior tour group had been stopping through for dinner and a one night stay, and although the hotel was significantly busier than our first night, the restaurant staff treated us with care and individuality, and we were not bothered by any noise. In fact the Bar that night was a huge trip highlight! Big shoutout to Bruno and Moses for making us feel at home immediately

Great 4-star home base for Battle of the Bulge. Very clean, AC worked fine, adequate electricity in the room, WiFi was good. Shower was fantastic; bed was Queen sized with a new mattress and nice sheets. Parking is around back, but it's covered from most rain. Breakfast was a bit pricey but the nicest that we had for the whole vacation. Excellent food and a wide assortment. This is a higher-end place, and the clientele show it. We saw some "celebrities" while there. Local grocery store, "Cactus," is fabulous to fill up on the things you need for your car. Water, snacks, etc. About a five minute drive, in Marnach. Very good "central base" for touring the Bulge. The chateau, itself, was part of a relatively minor skirmish but just down the road in Clervaux (a *must* see) the Americans really held up the Germans in a rather significant battle. Marnach, where Cactus is, also held the Germans up with strong resistance. That's the theme of the whole area, and Urspelt is a great location to start from. St. Vith, Malmedy, Bastogne (of course), Houffalize, etc. are all easy to reach and worth the trip. TV was good. Note that you can change the "sound" setting to get American shows in their native English, which opens up a lot to watch while you wind down. Highly recommended for couples. Highly.

Le spa est vraiment formidable surtout la grotte avec l’eau à 31 degrés .

La chambre 101 n'était absolument pas insonorisée ! On entendait très bien les allées et venues des touristes et des véhicules, tant dans le couloir que dans le parking ! La musique dans le couloir était audible jusque dans la chambre ! L'horloge sonnait bruyamment tous les quarts d'heure, et ce, très tôt le matin jusqu'à tard le soir ! Les portes des autres chambres claquaient souvent fort et bruyamment ! Bruit provenant du couloir et des voisins (du dessus) ! Le menu était trop limité et les portions étaient trop chères par rapport au prix ! La qualité était toutefois très bonne ! Bien qu'un ventilateur mobile ait été fourni, j'ai du mal à comprendre qu'il n'y ait pas de climatisation fixe dans la chambre ! L'ensemble de l'établissement n'est pas adapté aux personnes handicapées, car il n'y a pas d'ascenseurs (ni de monte-escaliers), les douches sont trop hautes et il n'y a pas de poignées, le robinet du lavabo était difficile à manipuler... Malgré tout cela, le personnel était aimable et serviable !

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt mit gutem Essen und netten Personal. Der Aufenthalt in der Grotte war schön, aber zum Schwimmen nicht geeignet. Überall würde man an „Felsen“ stoßen. Der Spa-Bereich ist etwas klein und komplett ohnexZugang ins Freie.

This hotel is great. Beautiful, clean, the rooms are big, the amenities are great. It seems most appropriate for couples but families with older kids will love it too.

The property did not meet our expectations. It is a stuffy hotel with largely unfriendly staff.

Geen kasteel- midden in centrum- Betalen voor kasteel en moeten slapen onder dak waar je moet opletten voor je hoofd als je in bed gaat ! We gingen om te rusten maar om 7 u begonnen ze elke dag met kranen te werken Weg rust

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel/spa in Luxembourg. There was an upscale restaurant for dinner, self-serve breakfast and a bar for after dinner drinks. Bedding was extremely comfortable, room had air conditioning, heated outdoor pool, and a nice outdoor patio area to have drinks/cocktails prior to dinner. Unfortunately, we did not have time to make use of the spa, but it looked very nice.

Vraiment un séjour qui a surpassé nos attentes ! Un vrai havre de paix, un lieu cocooning. Des prestations à la hauteur des étoiles de cet établissement ! Tout est fait pour passer un séjour sur place, de la meilleure des façons. Le restaurant est superbe, mention ultra spéciale pour le spa qui est juste somptueux. Je ne peux même pas décrire tellement c’était bien. Piscine extérieure appréciable également, personnel hyper serviable et arrangeant Bref, pour un séjour reposant en couple, c’est juste le lieu parfait ! Nous reviendrons sans hésitation

Et besøg på dette hotel bliver helt klart uforglemmeligt. Der er skønt at være, personalet skal have stor ros for at man føler sig velkommen, spaen med sin grotte er virkelig unik og en oplevelse i sig selv. Og at der er en cigar lounge for cigar entusiaster gør bestemt ikke besøget ringere. Kan klart anbefale dette hotel. Der er stor p plads både til el biler og alm biler og området omkring hotellet er fremragene. Maden på hotellet er også virkelig godt og smagfuldt. Eneste minus man lige skal være obs på er den relative korte tid man kan spise frokost i. 12-14. og med en spa dag hænger der ikke helt sammen da man fx har fra 10-15 imorgen timerne eller 15-19 i aften timerne. Ved mindre man tager en heldags spa 10-19.00, men bestemt ikke sidste gang jeg ligger min vej der forbi.

Nydelig avbrekk etter å ha vært på veien i mange dager i bil fra Nord-Norge. Mye luksus, stille og rolig. Badekar på rommet var høydepunktet. Og baderomsartiklene!

Découverte de ce très bel et grand etablissement , au calme , quelques points discutables en l’occurrence pas assez de transats autour de la piscine , de même pour l’espace SPA proposant esthétiquement de belles infrastructures mais trop petites au regard du nombre de chambres et de clients présents dans l’hôtel , et le tarif supplémentaire un peu excessif au regard des prestations proposées . Endroit à découvrir malgré tout .
