Great spot to stay while in the city.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was a little dated but tidy.

Everything was clean and the service was great! Parking lot and outer areas were well cleaned. Happy hour was such a nice treat! We missed breakfast, but it smelled great! The rooms are a bit dated or at least our room on the second level was. Needs a facelift, IMO.

Very nice hotel at a very good price. One block away from all the action downtown. Price includes a hot/cold breakfast. Will definitely stay there again if back in Charlottetown.

My daughter and I had a great 3 night stay at The Hotel on Pownal. This is an older hotel that has been updated and modernized. Walking distance to downtown core and restaurants, excellent on-site parking (with electric charging noted), comfortable beds and bedding, and a great breakfast that included a wide selection of gluten free options for my celiac daughter, including a designated space and gluten-free-only toaster. Dairy free options were noted as well. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again.

Rooms very nice warm and clean , all though the up stairs out side access needs to be fixed, if you forget you key card ya gotta go to your room to get it , or if ya loose it your stuck up stairs … aside from that very good spot .

Great location and lovely room.

The rooms are nice, as are the staff. But we were unable to access our room and it was nearly -20 C outside! We had if resolved in about 15 minutes, but it was very cold! Would have been 5 stars otherwise! Great value for the room size (a suite) and the location.

Clean roo m friendly staff

Since it was off season, there was some maintenance going on in some of the rooms in the lower level. There was some noise because of this. I did go up to front desk to ask about possible room change and was able to do so.

The front desk staff people are very courteous and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean.We liked the bath accessories provided and the towels were thick and white. It was an extra bonus to have the delicious breakfast included.We opted to be "greener" and not have the housekeeping after the first night. We recieved a $10.00 gift card for doing this.We spent it at the Merchantman Bar :-)

Room was in good condition. Staff was very nice. I had someone in the room above mine and I could hear them anytime they moved! 3am and they sounded like they were stomping around in MY room. Same thing in the morning. Loud room other than that nice room
