Warm and welcoming. A short walk into downtown Kilkenny. We had a great time!

The Kilkenny House Boutique Hotel was such a cute space. Enjoyed our night there.

Great stay

A it fast from the downtown if you walk. Drive is fast.

Front desk was so helpful. Easy to get down town with the bus- staff was kind and helpful- a little ways from downtown but we really liked our stay- breakfast was yummy and convenient to have right there

Mycket välkomnande personal i receptionen när vi anlände. Fick mycket god hjälp. Fick till och med vårt rum ändrat från andra till första våning då min fru har ont i ett knä och har lite svårt att gå i trappor. Det fanns ingen hiss men mannen i receptionen hjälpte till och ordnade upp våra väskor via mathissen. Mycket hjälpsamt! Enda dåliga erfarenheten var baren då vi skulle äta middag. Ingen som helst hjälpsamhet, intresse eller effektivitet. Vi åkte ut på stan och åt istället.

Amazing, beautiful building, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Free parking.

Nice and good price

I loved the quiet of the Kilkenny House, and the private parking. The bar is lovely to watch a match. Our room was simple and clean and comfy!

Breakfast not available until 8.30 at weekend, which seems inflexible. There were 5 people waiting when they opened the breakfast room.

We loved our stay at Kilkenny House Boutique Hotel. Room was a good size. Location was easy walking distance to town centre.

Our room upon arrival seemed ok but once we went to bed at 9.30, there was constant noise from other rooms and the service lift next to our room. At 10.05 we went to investigate as we thought noise like that after 10 completely unacceptable. We discovered it was a member of staff moving bedding trolleys around ready for the next day. We were then offered a different room at 10.15. We then packed up all our belongings and moved to room away from the service lift. We finally got to bed after 11.30pm. We now found that there were washing machines/tumble dryers going in the space below us. The laminate floors in the rooms just amplified any noise. Possibly the worst two nights stay during our month long trip in Ireland. This hotel was also the most expensive of our stays and was not worth the money we paid! The member of staff was helpful in moving us and very apologetic so we don’t blame them in any way but it’s the hotel itself. The hotel actually had signs asking guests to respect peace and quiet for other guests. It’s a pity the hotel didn’t think about peace and quiet for guests by following their own request for peacefulness.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Am Bau war eine Gebläse, welches regelmäßig ansprang, so dass beim offenen Fenster die Ruhe gehemmt gewesen war. Aber heulen, auf höherem Niveau. Wir würden wieder buchen

Seamless experience - great for my travel needs in terms of location convenience while maintaining access to public transport if need be.

Very friendly welcoming staff. Lovely bar. Location great for proximity to hospital. Some staining on the throws at end of bed.
