Very convenient location, with free parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful historic building. Swimming pool and jacuzzi very welcome after a day's exploring the city. The heritage nature of the building means the rooms are a bit small with limited natural light. And the soundproofing between rooms is weak. We could hear our neighbour coughing all night and chairs being moved around upstairs.

Staff was helpful and very knowledgeable. Hotel has so much history and is centrally located.

Lovely place. Need more staffing in the bar. Would be good if they could figure out how to preserve the historic features while making the property more accessible and safe (lots of tripping hazards).

Staff helpful at front desk. Bar staff often not present, but once they arrived, they were very helpful — but need to staff more for busy times! Since it’s an old property, they need to better mark steps and other tripping hazards so people don’t fall.

Historical hotel in the heart of Santiago de Compostela, just a block away from the cathedral. It feels like you are using a (well-kept and comfortable) museum as lodging. The Comedor Monumental was exactly that, monumental and artsy. Fresh and varied breakfast, included in the price. Staff very courteous and accommodating. Excellent and memorable hotel!

Nice hotel with cool history. Staff was great. I would have given them a 5 star rating but as a digital Nomad the internet conductivity was super poor in my room (209). Had to go to sit in a chair near the elevators to get any work done. If you are near a repeater or front desk then all is good.

We are senior citizens and we found the hotel absolutely perfect. The location was superb, town and historic areas in amazing condition, very clean and friendly atmosphere! Pool , hot tub and gym were wonderful!
