Ideally placed for local shopping.

Clean and tidy lots of history beautiful listed build with quirky features (watch the stairs the treads are all sizes) Breakfast good and overall for the price great value. The only downside was noisy services glass recycling at 05:30 waking me up.

Staff lovely and welcoming. Pub very traditional and great location. Mattress was too small for the frame but I did sleep well. Room lovely and warm. Blackout curtains. Just needs a hook by the shower to hold your towel! Thank you.

The room was clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee. The room was a bit cold at first but soon warmed up. I had a lovely hot breakfast and all the staff were great.

Check in was nice and simple, the room was ready early so we were able to check in earlier. The staff were polite and helpful and the room was amazing. Maybe a couple of bottles of water in the bedroom would improve the stay, other than that it was an amazing stay

Have stayed here before and it’s a great little find, well located for the centre, close to very reasonable ca park, excellent service and great value for money with breakfast included - would highly recommend for a short stay in Chester.

Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Roll top stand alone bath was a massive bonus. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Would have been a 5 star review had we not had disturbed sleep on the first night from the guests next door. Hotel and staff were lovely though, and the cooked breakfast was very nice too. We would definitely return.

The Pied Bull couldnt be faulted if anything was wrong we never noticed. Quite area but still close to everything. Room service second to non and warm and cosy. From arrival to departure on our 4 days just perfect.we sure to return to the Pied again and tell our friends and relatives this is perfect.
