Nice stay

Less than 5 minutes drive from Napier Airport, the Albatross Motel is also a close drive to central Napier, restaurants near Ahuriri, and the Esk Valley wine region as well as being across the road from the Ahuriri Lagoon and its walks. Great to stay here again and would be happy to stay again!

Room was kept very clean by friendly and hard working housekeeping staff. There is a dedicated parking space for each room so no issues finding a parking spot. Would stay there again.

Bathrooms floor was extremely slippery and hard to work the shower, hot and cold. Poor drainage, need rubber mats.

i loved that the room was perfectly self contained with plates, bowls, cooker and when we wanted an iron the guy brought one ot use with a smile. Really lovely.

We stayed in 1 of the seperate 1brm units. Very fresh and tidy to walk into. Very quiet with no road noise. New owners are welcoming and helpful.

Great space

Great parking heaps of parking across the road if you need trailer park. The bed was uncomfortable, hard as a board.

I couldn't get the shower to work properly so I ended up having a cool/cold shower mostly. (Stayed cold and shaky for hours afterwards?!)

An average stay in an average motel. No red flags though and the unit was clean. Clearly catering for business clients. Value for money

Rooms were dated and smelled of bleach.

I liked the estuary views and the easy access to the Napier/Hastings freeway. I didn't like the heavy footsteps along the balcony front, it was quite noisy.

Very clean and quiet. Good parking.

It was a nice place to stay. The reception staff was nice. There is a nice walking track close by.
