Very convenient

The only elevator in the hotel was out on our second night stay. We had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs that night and the next morning with our luggage, which was OK, even though we are 65 and 71 years old. We understand mechanical things go out. The bad thing, starting at 5:30am, we heard the banging of the stairway door opening and closing continuously as guests were going in and out of the hotel since our room was next to the stairway exit and the elevator read still not working. We wish the hotel would have realized many guests would be using the stairway and put a door stop in the stairway door to prop the stairway door open for all the guests to come and go without banging the heavy stairway door, especially for guests in rooms next to the stairway door. We might have been able to get a few hours more sleep.

Husband had COVID-19 asked to cancel and requested a refund hotel said to contact hotel.com as they had our money. Did that and it's a week later with no yes no answer just an Im sorry email? We would have come and stayed had we known this was going to be the result, but this communication was not received before our trip.
