Its good

Great location, close to the beach, airport and not far from town. Room was very clean and had a nice feel to it, easy to cook in the studio kitchen with full kitchen utensils. Will be staying again and would recommend to others.

Comfortable and practical motel in Nelson. We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit with a kitchenette suitably equipped for cooking basic meals (hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, crockery and cutlery, utensils, etc). Spacious unit - with easy chairs as well as a table and dining chairs. Everything was clean. Parking right outside. Very nice and friendly young couple running the place. We used the laundry facilities and drying lines and could have had a dip in the pool. It's fairly close to the airport but flights seemed to stop mid-evening and not start too early each morning - didn't disturb us. Also a short walk to the beach. The motel units are not ultra modern but everything was clean, well maintained and worked well. Plenty of SKY sports options on the TV if that's of interest. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The Manager, Cobber, is very friendly and welcoming. Place is neat and kept clean. Would stay here again when we visit Nelson.

Service was better kids love the play ground

Very friendly staff. There is a nice dog that provided heaps of fun playing with a ball. The pool has a good size (could be warmer 😀), room with comfortable bed, good kitchen and very clean bathroom. Parking right in front of the unit is really handy.

The owner and staff were terrific. We had the two bedroom unit and it was above expectations comfortable.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were attentive and gave us a free ride to the airport. It would be a good place with kids. There’s a small pool and playground area. It’s within walking distance to the beach, but might be further than you’d want to walk with kids. I stayed there with friends so easy walk for us. It is a bit far to walk to the city center. We didn’t have any trouble taking a cab.

Great location & good room facilities for 2 adults & 2 children. The room did not have air conditioning which made the stay a little uncomfortable in hot weather. Was great to have use of a swimming pool to try & cool down before going to bed ☺

Lounge suite rather dated & extremely too hot to sit on it in summer.

Great place to stay, heaps of room for kids to play out the back even has a flying fox

The motel was very clean - tidy and quiet .Location was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants / cafes .Great service on arrival and during our stay . Certainly recommend Alister

New owners were friendly and helpful. Nice grey cat visited our room briefly to say hello. Good laundry facilities. Nice swimming pool but we never had time to use it this time.
