The Emily Suite was very spacious and the bed was massive, only downside was no hotel breakfast only offer breakfast at Bill's Restaurant which is onsite. However Beefeater is only 10 min drive away offering all you can eat for £10.99

Generally a decent hotel for the stay and price. It definitely shows a bit more wear and tear but not unkempt. Overall was a pleasant stay.

For our trip to Guildford it was perfect for our needs. Great atmosphere in the town very friendly.

Very lovely hotel to stay in, has great character and rooms are lovely and big! Great value for money, with a massive bed, large tv, big bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities. Smelt lovely too! Would definitely come back.

An interesting old property in the centre of town. I had a large spacious room with an excellent bathroom, a bath and shower in it. A very polite and helpful receptionist at check in.

Room was comfortable but poor lighting and cold water tap in bath/ shower impossible to turn on.

As usual The Angel was a great stay. Roomy with really comfy furnishings. Bit of a labyrinth to the room, but the building is 500 years old!

Lovely room and great service from the reception. Great little getaway with the Mrs.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Brilliant place to stay as shops and restaurants are on the door step and the hotel it self has clean and comfortable rooms.

Great for short stays in Guildford

When you pay for a luxury room, you expect to have everything in working order, as well as basic fundamentals, but unfortunately this place doesn’t. TVs did not work. WiFi would not work so tv wouldn’t work. Radiators constantly sound like they are half empty and making a noise. Room service disturbed us to ask if we had a magazine in our room, but never fixed the issue. No mirror on the vanity desk. No mirror close to a mains socket and therefore unable to dry or straighten hair. Coffee table leave hinges don’t support any weight and everything slips off. No plug in sink

Had a wonderful stay at the Angel Hotel Guildford! Perfect location, charming historic ambiance, and excellent service. Highly recommend !!

The hotel is very characterful but needs some attention, the shower was very weak but the hotel was well placed and we had a good nights sleep

The staff were so helpful an as friendly. The room was lovely with great pillows!
