We enjoyed that they had an outdoor pool even though the hours aren't what we are used to when we stay places. Rooms were cozy, staff was nice. We didn't get breakfast there cause we woke up late, but we would definitely stay here again if we're in the area

Property is dated and worn. We chose it mainly on the strength of the great reviews here on Expedia but were disappointed by the condition of the property. Room wasn’t very clean, bed was uncomfortable, and towels were rough and thin. Was glad that it was just a quick overnight stop on a road trip.

Nice clean room with refrigerator and microwave. Adequate breakfast with pancake machine, biscuits and cereal.

I am not sure how this hotel got such high ratings, other than it was very clean. The air conditioner was very noisy, you could hear the people above us walking around and the water pressure in the shower was terrible, I barely got the shampoo rinsed from my hair! And whatever was in the “shampoo/conditioner bottle on the wall in the shower didn’t even lather up, I was glad I had some shampoo from the prior hotel we stayed at the night before!! Very disappointing for an “excellent” rating!!

There was no dislike. Great experience. Will return again.

It was okay

It was quiet and our room on the 3rd floor stayed nice and cool. The breakfast was disappointing. But I would stay here again.

It is updated and nice for the price, no doubt. Also, the price for having a dog or 2 is excellent. The bad is that we could hear every creak from the people above. Also, if you are someone who likes to sleep with the room cold, no can do. They control your temperature and the a/c shuts off and on, no matter if you set it to automatic or not.

Breakfast was very limited in what was served & there signs to not take more than one item e.g. milk carton. Fancy pancake machine made awful tasting pancakes!! Very little variety with no fruit offered. Pool closed although temp in the 80’s. Dog fees quite high.

Inexpensive, clean, quiet, comfortable beds and good hot water. Not in a great area, but felt safe. Exterior needs an upgrade. Good value.

The room was comfortable, but very dated. Since there was tile for flooring instead of carpet, It was a little cold underfoot. Also, since there was not an elevator, getting to my room was not very easy. Carrying luggage up stairs.

We really enjoyed our stay in Springfield, IL and also our stay in Cameron, IL. I was impressed by the hospitality, cleanliness, comfortable bedding, the delicious snacks offered in the lobby and the accommodations offered to allow 3 adults and 2 children to all share a single room, saving us a good bit of money! The girls also enjoyed the hotel pool and the free breakfast was delicious both mornings in Springfield.

The stay was fine, but the room I had originally booked on Hotels.com, a double queen handicap accessible, didn’t even exist at that motel. Had to settle for a double queen without the accessible amenities (or could have taken a single with accessible).
