Property very tired. A socket in the bedroom was dangerous and hanging off the wall. Potential electrocution risk. Food (dinner and breakfast) good, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are tired & need an update. The food & the bar make up for it + breakfast was good. Just needs some £ spent on the property.

What a delightful place. Room was lovely (4 poster room). Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The lady serving breakfast was so lovely. Will definitely stay again, we loved it. Thank you.

Breakfast superb! Wonderful menu.. Staff were very attentive...The bedrooms (3 and 4) were up steep stairs, they were a good size with comfy beds and the bedding ws excellnt . Only fault was that neither room had a working bedside lamp.. That was disappointing as we were unable to read in bed... We told the cleaner as we were leaving that 4 light bulbs needed replacing. The Crooked Inn has great charm but rooms need checking before guests arrive! More attention to detail needed!

Wonderful country estate with great views, nice rooms and shower. Fabulous well-priced dinner and very good full breakfast.

Staff were friendly. Room ok, bath/shower was small, not easy to use. Disappointed, as would of liked a bath after travelling. Food was good.

The room was cold radiator was put on day 3. Shower was terrible had to use the one attached to bath

Extortionate price for a freezing room with no really hot water. Bar was cold too (no logs put on fire) although food and beer were good. Landlady was unsympathetic - "no one else has complained". She suggested I could have put a second duvet on top. Talk about denial!!!!! Avoid this place if you want value for money and/or until the temperature rises above 18 degrees.

A go to place to stay, rooms are a bit dated but overall I like it here.

Our group of four hikers really liked this place. The location is great, the rooms spacious and functional, and the staff brilliant. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. So, top marks. The only quibble was that the wine choice was extremely limited.

Beautiful location, peaceful relaxed stay. Supper and breakfast were great and the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. Highly recommended.
