We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The little temperate rainforest next to the back patio was wonderful. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Parking is easy. And not far from the town

Quick drive into town, or a little walk.

Awesome small hotel close to town! Everything was great! The host steered us to a great pub for dinner. The room was clean and tidy! Parked in front of the room. Well equipped room and kitchen. Wonderful stay!

Very clean, spacious and well equipped. Full kitchen was a real bonus. Staff very helpful and personable. Can’t think of a single thing needing improvement!

Lovely, clean and comfortable

The interior was old. The whole motel is stuck in 1988. We requested a baby coat and it was full of stains.

Nice spacious room with parking right outside. Loved the spa bath!

Staff were helpful. A good sized room but next to laundry. We believe there are possibly people staying there long term. Had to speak to a group of people because there were making loud noise at 6:30 in the morning. OPatio area was little more than a smoking area. A fair walk from town and right next to a rather ugly looking industrial building.

Comfortable room & good bed for our stay in Hokitika. Maybe a non slip mat in spa bath when using it as a shower.

The owner gave me some local milk for my tea, but unfortunately, I was ill and couldn't ingest anything. The hot tub looked like it had powerful jets, but again, I couldn't try it. (I'm better now).

The place was clean and tidy. A good room for the price. The large bath/shower was excellent. The Thai restaurant in town was lovely food

Spacious room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Used the laundry facility, $2 wash and $4 dryer. Bed was very firm. Quiet location.

Could do with a freshen up in the bathroom and carpets and windows dripping in the mornings. Otherwise staff really friendly and so was the cat

Great location and excellent facilities

Lovely room, roomy and spacious, fast internet, very clean, well appointed and real milk for your morning plunger coffee. Friendly greeting and shown to room, car parking at door. Quiet area and super comfy bed. Spa and rainfall shower awesome 👌
